The hotel is clean and nicely maintained, with a nice pool area. However, there are not enough sunbeds available around the pool, which can make it difficult to find a spot during busy times. The biggest issue for me was the bed. Unfortunately, it was not comfortable at all. The mattress felt like it was damaged or worn out, and it was not a proper wooden bed frame but a metal frame that made a lot of noise whenever you moved. A good night’s sleep is essential, and this really affected the overall experience. The breakfast was one of the highlights. It was very good, with plenty of options. For fitness lovers, it was great to see healthy choices like eggs and porridge available. Unfortunately, the gym was very disappointing. It is not suitable for anyone who takes fitness seriously. There is no bench press, no squat rack, and the heaviest dumbbells available are only 14kg. The location is around a 20-minute walk from most sightseeing areas, which is manageable in normal weather, but during 40-degree heat it was not ideal. The pool bar experience was the biggest disappointment. The food was extremely expensive for the quality and service provided. After placing an order, I waited around 40 minutes before being told that my chosen item was not available. There was no apology or attempt to make up for the inconvenience. I then ordered a chicken Caesar salad, but the amount of chicken provided was extremely small — more like a portion for a child. Overall, it took around 70 minutes for the food to finally arrive. The staff were generally friendly, but the pool bar service needs significant improvement and better training. There was also an issue with the shower, as the water was not draining properly and the shower became blocked. Overall, the hotel itself is clean, the breakfast is excellent, and the pool area is nice. However, the uncomfortable beds, poor gym facilities, expensive and disappointing pool bar experience, and shower issue would make me choose a different hotel next time.
