This stylish cottage is perfect for families or small group trips. The Crowes Nest is a 3-bedroom contemporary cottage located on Crowe Lake in Marmora, Ontario.
For those looking to escape the big city, The Crowes Nest is 2h20 drive from both Toronto and Ottawa. Our cottage is complete with luxury finishes and amenities (including a bunkie and a sauna) to ensure our guests have a relaxing experience away from home.
The space

Absolutely lovely cottage! Modern, fashionable and clean space; equipped with all you need. Gorgeous new stairs and deck down to the waterfront, we spent ours hanging out by the water. The hosts made it easy, everything thoroughly explained and well labeled. The lake itself is lovely, and the neighbours super quiet. Lake access requires stairs up and down, but the stairs themselves are well made with good railings. The water is generally pretty deep and rocky off the dock - ideal for fun floaties and boating. We sat for hours watching the local wildlife - dragonflies, fish, loons, turtles, birds and fireflies. It was magical! I would definitely book again, our only complaint was we couldn't stay longer.

We had an amazing weekend at the Crowe’s Nest!! The cottage is beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything you need. The lake is amazing and we had the best time swimming, hanging out on the dock, and enjoying the pristine location. Leisa was super communicative and helpful when we had questions. The only thing to note is that the steps down to the water might be a bit difficult to navigate for small children or those with mobility issues, but they were fine for us. Would highly recommend!

Over the top impressed - from the moment we opened the door to when to left.
Visually appealing and the layout was extremely functional. Decor was at a professional level. Beds were so comfortable and the sheets were so soft.
Host was very accommodating to some specific requests I had and quick to respond.
Kids used the bunkie and had a wonderful time using the water toys.
Loads of seating areas for various uses.
Loved the games for the kids too.
I shared this listing with all our family for our best visit. Would definitely recommend this cottage!
