About this house rental
The kitchen has all appliances including a microwave, air fryer, oven and refrigerator. There is both a Keurig coffee maker as well as a kettle. The cottage has a newer furnace, central air conditioning and potable water.
The Crowe river flows out of Belmont Lake and the cottage is approximately 500 m to the larger lake giving peaceful water front in a no wake zone with minimal boat traffic. During high water levels, visitors should be cautious of the current in the middle of the river, however water close to the shore is unaffected. The river is also great for fishing (bass, pickerel, Pike, Muskie)
Inside the cottage there are two comfortable bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a queen bed and single futon . There are also 3 other futons to use, 1 upstairs and 2 downstairs as along with a single bed. There is a walk out from the basement to a covered sitting area with an outdoor couch and chairs. There is a Fisher wood burning stove in the basement to enjoy quiet time indoors. The deck also has a patio table and lounge chairs for relaxing as you BBQ on a newer propane barbecue. There is also a smaller second BBQ below the deck if needed.
The cottage is situated on a gently sloping lot down to the water with a sandy walk in area. There is seating by the water and fire pit. A small amount of wood will be provided and more can be purchased locally.
There are 2 TVs, a PS3, Nintendo Mini Gaming System and DVD players with movies for you to use in case it rains. There is no cable or satellite TV but there is an Apple TV to use and you can access your own Netflix account.
There are two kayaks, a standup paddleboard and a paddle boat that you are able to use during your stay. Lifejackets are available and recommended.
Enjoy a coffee in the screened in sunroom, lunch or dinner on the deck and a beverage under the stars by the fire pit!
The cottage comes with linens, comforters and blankets to make your stay comfortable. Please bring your own towels.
