It has good points and bad points

I don't understand why they advertise one bedroom and when you arrive they give you just a small room with bathroom in corridor. But It is clean and bed comfortable and very friendly host

Small room with kettle is not equal One bedroom flat which been advertised. And strange bathroom keys system when you taking shower and another person walking in to take piss not very comfortable. No sound insulation, so you can hear as one person snorring and another one farting. Very weird experience.

Our hosts could not be more friendly and helpful. The accommodation was fairly basic but it was very clean, comfortable and suited use for our 3 day stay.

Minor issue - the doors to the rooms were noisy when being opened or closed.

We were a little confused by the key we were given for the shared bathroom, which meant that the other guests could unlock the bathroom and enter when we were using it.

It was good for a one-night stay. I was stuck in Tivat and it was the only room available.

The location was okay. The bed was small, but ok. Cleanliness of the bedroom area.

Nice place, amazing host

Very nice clean room. Had fridge and coffee in the room. Shared bathrooms with other one room. Shortish walk till the centre (10 min). Quite place. Absolutely amazing host, run by family. Host was very welcoming, good communication. Her father even dropped me to the airport in the morning on his way to the work. Thank you!

Nice apartment, you’ll feel right at home, the perfect place to dicover tivat.

The location of the apartment was great, takes 10-15 to get to the habor by foot. The apartment and especially the toilet were incredible clean. Our host was the best, she gave us great tips for restaurants and beaches, was super nice and is always ready to help. Highly recommend! Her father even brought us to the bus station for free and was also super sweet and nice.

Great Budget Place in Tivat

The owner was very nice. We had to check in early due to the extreme weather change - owner was very nice to get the room ready quickly and get into the AC room to relax. He even offered us couple of chilled beers to start our hot summer in Montenegro. He recommended us good hotels and nearest beaches to roam around. The property has a small kichentte with cooking utensil, so you could even cook light meal, prepare tea/coffee. The toilet is shared, but only with one another room, but very clean and maintained. Recommended for a great price.

This accommodation offers lovely space made exceptional by the warmth of its hosts.

Lana and her parents are incredibly warm people, and are exceptional hosts. They were accommodating to my strange arrival and departure hours, and then even offered to do my laundry for me while I was out during the day. I felt right at home the entire time. Unfortunately, I couldn't extend my stay, as they were already fully booked for the next night. Hvala puno!

The best thing about this property is the staff, they are super friendly and make your stay great. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I think for Tivat, this property is excellent value for money and it might be the cheapest place in town. The laundry facilities are free to use and the common areas and balcony are nice in the evening. Everything was kept clean throughout our stay.

You need to be aware, that you wil not be booking an apartment. It is a room with 2 beds, a fridge and a hot plate. There is a shared bathroom and Laundry facilities, but we were initially disappointed as we thought we had booked an apartment. The staff and shared areas do make up for this - hopefully reading this, you are more informed.

Amazing place, for good price

First of all the host was amazing, very warm welcoming, the host gave us a popcorn when we arrived, that was an amazing touch! Very lovely and friendly, amazing meeting and checking in experience. Location is great, has a parking spot and close to the montenegro port, but at the same time quiet location. The room is small and cosy, but has everything you need. Beds are super comfortable. Very clean and has an AC unit that works super well. The bathroom was super clean and smelled nice, also spaceous and has a washing machine in it. Overall well worth the money and even above what you expect before arriving.

More than average

I needed a place to stay overnight between evening arrival from Croatia and next morning departure to Tivat Airport. The price was okay etc., but I did not delve into the exact location which was close to centre, but not to airport. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Own kitchen with necessary utensils.

WiFi was uneven (at least on the top floor). Steep stairway. The street is not well lit in the dark, no sidewalks. "Wrong" side of the city in terms of bus station or airport. No shops in the very vicinity.

The host Lana was super nice and helpfull. The room was quite small but had all the things we beeded. Qute kitchen and possible to sit and relax on a small balcony. Possible to park our car in the garden was good and the apartment is a walking distance from Tivat city centre. Higly recommend Sofias guesthouse.

You should visit this place if you want hospitality, a convenient location, and great facilities.

I was fortunate to find this accommodation within the peak of the summer season in Montenegro. The hosts were incredible: not only do they show solidarity among themselves as a family, but they also do their best to help the guests. I had all the facilities at my disposal for a pleasant stay: the directions how to reach the bus station and the airport in Tivat; the garden to eat out, talk, work on my laptop and read. Also, I could use the laundry machine and the kitchenette because I like to feel as if I live in the house where I stay (not just being a tourist). The room was quiet so I could rest when I was not at beach or walking around. The closest beach was 5-7 minutes away from this house while my favourite beach in Tivat was just 12 minutes away. :) I stayed fit and enjoyed being in Mažine area! Definitely a place to come back!

I wish the summer vacation days could last longer. :)
