the ferry is a bit noisy

Everything about the place was perfect. We felt right at home with mama and Suzanne. They didn't skip a day without bringing us some kind of snacks or offering us coffee. They also gave us beach towels and an umbrella and when I was leaving they gave me a lovely souvenir from tivat. It was super clean, you got everything you need there, whether it's the AC, terrace, kitchen utensils or bathroom stuff. Couldn't ask for a better place, to be honest. In terms of location, the beach is literally a few minutes walk, so is the ferry and the bus station. There's also a great restaurant nearby, but mamas snacks were always great. I highly highly highly recommend spending your time there. I didn't want to leave.

Good view, had a private space for parking. Quiet area. The hosts gave us welcome coffee and juice and sweet crepes.

The apartment is probably converted from a grandparents’ old living room into a booking.com room. All the furniture is really old. The room was also unfortunately not thoroughly cleaned (see pictures). From the moment we arrived within the next 12 hours we were asked to pay the remaining of the payment 3 times. They even came and knocked the door to ask for money. The host does not know English well. So she says ‘Money!’ only, which is not hospitable if you hear that 3 times in 12 hours as if we would run away (maybe some people did, we don’t know.) But having visited 40 countries, stayed in over 60 airbnbs/bookings we never saw this approach. It is overpriced for the room (70 euros per night). If that is the price, you should buy a new bed, modernise the room so it does not smell old and humid. It is 30 mins away from Kotor by car. Nothing to do there but we would have chosen a closer place.
