CALDERON - Studio in Centre at Universitate & Old Town

The apartment was in a great location, on a quiet street and within walking distance from all the best sites. The host Adrian was super welcoming and very responsive. Don't worry about the building being rundown. That's how things are in Bucharest. The apartment itself is modern and very clean. It also has a lovely view.

The kitchen is a bit squishy but has has the basics.

Locatia este perfecta pentru vizitarea centrului. Multe baruri si restaurante in zona. Apartamentul are tot ce ii trebuie si este super luminos.

The apartment is really lovely. Beautifully decorated, very clean and lots of facilities (hair dryer, washing machine, iron, ironing board, fridge, extra heaters - which were not needed). Nice and warm. Adrian is a very good host who clearly cares about the quality of his guests' stay. Excellent location near to lots of places of interest and about 15 minutes walk to the old town.

When you arrive the outside of the building does not look too good but I have found this is common with apartment blocks in lots of big cities. Do not let this put you off as, once inside, the apartment is lovely, especially for the price. Personally (but I am being very picky here!!!!) I would have liked a kettle (there is a coffee machine which takes pods) but probably because I'm British and need a quick cup of tea in the morning! I would imagine the coffee machine could maybe do this though.

Appartamento molto piccolo ma dotato di tutto ciò che può servire per un breve soggiorno. Ha l’ascensore, parcheggi nelle vicinanze ed è vicino al centro con breve passeggiata. È molto ben riscaldato, fa quasi troppo caldo.

Purtroppo abbiamo avuto un guasto al boiler per l’acqua calda che si è risolto dopo la nostra partenza. Il proprietario ci aveva proposto uno sconto ma non siamo mai riusciti ad ottenerlo.
