The apartment is well situated, clean and spacious. The size of the bed meant three bad nights.

Location is great and parking at the end of the street as on street is expensive and short term only. We know the city, but for visitors think they would probably appreciate more info on good restaurants and bars in the vicinity.

The size of the bed would stop us booking again. Smaller than a double and definitely not for two people. We also had to go out and buy shower gel, soap and tissues in addition to milk, tea bags, sugar and coffee.

A very convenient location to explore Aberdeen.

The location of the apartment was excellent - within walking distance of city centre, supermarket & restaurants. There was plenty of space.

We couldn’t get the stovetop to work & asked for help but didn’t hear back. The bed was very soft & needs to be replaced.

Excellent stay and wonderful host

The host was extremely helpful, responsive, and courteous throughout my visit. The apartment is in an excellent location, very convenient and easy to access. It was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for an overnight stay. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely recommend it!

Unable to sleep on ancient mattress, broken shower, dreadful

Location

The owner assured me that a ‘new bed’ had been put in but the mattress was ancient. Unable to sleep with springs digging into my thighs, I left the next day and stayed elsewhere. Shower broken and held together with parcel tape, which is not enough to make the shower work properly. Evidently has been lovely in the past, but currently not looked after well enough. Requested refund has not been received.

Kitchen utensils badly need to be replaced. Also the pillows. Extremely noisy from street on Saturday night - nightclub & kebab shops nearby.

Very Nice & Clean Apartment

Very Nice & Clean Apartment. Located in nearby local shops, Pubs and walking distance to City Centre. Our flight arrived early and the owner allowed us to check in early and the departure flight was late evening and again the owner has allowed us to check out late for a reasonable fee. Highly Recommended place.

Convenient

Location was excellent The floors, the bathroom and some of the surfaces were clean The bed was comfortable

If you look at the review from November 22 very little has changed since. There is still only one teaspoon. There are two knives. There are 2 mugs. There are four of everything else. Not a problem if you don't mind washing up after every meal. The linen from the last guest was still in the washing machine and needed to be dealt with before I could use the machine. The pile of linen was then sat on the kitchen table for the duration of the holiday. I don't expect to have to deal with someone else's linen during my holiday. On the upside by doing the linen I did find the only tea towel. Lots of little things that are easy to deal with such as broken bin lids, light bulbs not working, the large saucepan with the very dodgy handle, all of the clocks are either not working or at the wrong time, are all easy fixes, but not done. The bedroom smelled of mould, meaning we would wake up sneezing and the level of cleanliness could have been much better.

Our new favourite apartment stay!

Really reccommend this apartment. Travelled from Liverpool with 8 year old and it was perfect for our needs. Clean. Tasteful decor. Amazing shower and somewhere I will book again without thinking of going elsewhere!

great location shame the tenants upstairs have no respect for people in flat below them.

the location was awesome

it wasn’t very clean. the floors throughout were clean. there was a lot of dust and the bins in kitchen and bathroom were dirty and dusty. the people upstairs were noisy a child running back and forward throughout the evening and all day the weekend and the child crying woke me up constantly during the night.

Disappointed with aspects of our stay but overall thought the location was the primary winner.

We liked the location. Location was handy for local shopping and public transport. Location had adequate parking on a first come first served basis. The heating system was excellent and very comfortable. Bathroom facilities were clean and functioned well.

When we arrived the apartment had blood stained towels and blood stained clothes strewn in the kitchen and in the washing machine. . The living room blinds were broken, beyond repair and were promised to be replaced [were unable to be closed]. Kitchen was poorly equipped and only had the very basic of utensils, crockery and cookware. Living room furniture was worn and pull out sofa bed broken. No instructions left for stove top/oven. The range hood did not function at all. No information regarding local taxis, local information, food options were available. Towels and bedding were very average and used quality. Storage in bedroom was limited due to storing of towels bedding ironing board, clothes airer, safe etc.

Very pleasant stay

Centrally located (just off Union Street), the apartment was clean and spacious, and I was very grateful that even though I arrived late (after 9pm), the heating had very thoughtfully been switched on for me. The flat was well-equipped with good quality products, and I enjoyed my stay. I also thought the price was very fair. Thank you!

Basic, central apartment.

Location is very central. Just off Union Street. Bakery next door, and everything very close, restaurants, takeaway places, supermarkets etc. Great powerful shower, nice kitchen. Good heating, so no problem getting the apartment warm. (Light of Bengal Indian Restaurant on next Street up Rose Street was superb).

Damp towels on arrival, which wasn't good as we were going straight out after travelling there and check-in to meet family. Half eaten food left in fridge and fridge wasn't clean. Sink in bathroom was blocked, we unblocked ourselves and pulled out loads of gunk to get it to drain. One lamp in bedroom didn't work. Only 1 teaspoon in apartment. No home comforts such as lamps in lounge or any rugs/carpeting. Washing machine was stuffed full of dirty washing. Broken blind in lounge. Apartment could have been cleaner and is in general need of a bit of TLC. Bedroom is small so very difficult to navigate past bed to go to other side if there's two of you as space is very small and a TV on wall at your back. Have stayed in a few apartments now in Aberdeen when back home visiting family, unfortunately this would score the lowest which is a shame because it wouldn't take much to bring it up to a good standard in such a great location.

Location and communication with host excellent, bathroom and shower was great. With a little TLC could be an excellent place to stay. Car parking was a bonus.

Needs regular maintenance and attention to detail, for example the extractor hood nearly came off in our hands,and there were laundry already packed in the washing machine so it's a good job we didn't require to use it. There are 3 bins in the kitchen but no definition on what needs to go where. Key to back door sticks and it's hard to open. Boiler was noisy at night and it wasn't clear how to change temperature or turn off.

Exceptional

I liked the location and the easiness of the check in and check out, I was totally surprised also as didn't expect the toiletries, cleaning products and actually bought some so as to clean myself.

Only thing I didn't like was the blinds as they need sorted so they can be closed to stop the street lights shining in the bedroom and livingroom and for privacy also, as hotel across street windows are same level

Ideal location, excellent host, everything I needed was provided.

Locality, bakery in the street that opened 07:00, city center location, easy to get taxi and walk to a wide choice of restaurants and takeaways. Spacious apartment and everything anyone can need provided like washing machine, iron and board, fridge, hob, clean towels, hot towel rail in the bathroom, etc etc

The sofa and the bed mattress wasn't as supportive as I would ideally like bit I managed to have a good night's sleep on the mattress.

The location was great, plenty of dining options near the property along with cafes and shops . The flat is lovely and very comfortable with all the amenities you need for the stay . Booked twice for my husband on his business trips and would definitely recommend.

Location is perfect, just a stones throw from the shops and nightlife. Very affordable. Free private parking. Bathroom is very nice. There is a bakery just a few doors up.
