The hosts, particularly Maira, were welcoming, friendly and eager to accommodate my needs to the extent possible.
Unfortunately, there were several disappointing points to my stay. I did communicate most of these problems to the hostess, who was open to listen, so I believe there is potential and willingness to improve on them.
The property was advertised as an 80 square metre house, while, in fact, a tiny (approx. 9 square metre) bedroom was private and the rest was shared.
There was no hot water (just lukewarm), even after turning on the boiler.
The bed was a 120 cm semi-double, so would have been completely inadequate if I had not been alone. The hostess did tell me that booking.com did not offer an option to describe the bed as semi-double (rather, either single or double).
Although small, the bedroom wasn't cosy - it only had a ceiling cool-light lamp (no bedside lamp) and the house lacked soundproofing between the communal spaces and bedroom.
Lastly, since I had landed in a shared house situation, I would have preferred if a shared house culture was present - perhaps the host wanted to be discreet, but at times sharing the communal spaces felt awkward and did not create a homely feeling.
