This is a wonderful apartment. It's located on the second floor and offers beautiful views of the sea, the city/Heriaklion, and the mountains. You can stroll along the seafront, and in the evening, you can head into town, about a 20-minute walk away.
The host, Mixalis, provided water and fruit. The figs, grown on his own plot, are an absolute delicacy. The apartment is well-equipped in both the kitchen and bathroom. Umbrellas and a beach mat are also provided. We plan to return next year.

The appartment had all that I needed. It is very close to the center - a free minibus takes you directly to the center (Agios Minas and Plateia Kornarou). There is a beach right next to appartment with a seafood restaurant and you can reach Ammoudara and bars by foot. I managed to explore Heraklion a lot and rest in this cute appartment. I was alone, but there is room for 2-3 people and even a children bed. There are all kind of amenities - all things for cooking, books, hygiene, wash mashine and washing powder, AC, smart TV... Balcony is also very nice and big with direct seaview. Altough central, neighbourhood is peaceful. For intercity travels you can use Giofiros KTEL station nearby - I used it to reach Rethymno, Chania, Faistos, Matala, Knossos, Palaiocastro... Crete is incredible! The owner was very kind and helpful with advices. When I visit Heraklion, I intend to stay here again!
