Beautiful view and a quick walk to the beach staff were very easy to get a hold of.

Cleanliness, spaciousness, outlook, modern touches to decor.

The bedside tables had no lamps. Only one light in each bedroom and that was the fan light. Also it would have been nice for a few more basic supplies to be in the pantry like some high end vacation homes - like salt, pepper, glad wrap, foil, spray oil etc.

Confusion over luggage pick up on departure

The location of the property is beautiful. Tangalooma is a great resort with lots of activities/tours to do. We have been to Tangalooma three times previously over the years. Viewing the sunset from your room is the best experience and watching the dolphins swim up for their evening feed is amazing. The apartment is modern and has great appliances and the beds were very comfortable. The view of the bay from the balcony was very much the highlight of the apartment.

This was the last apartment available for the ANZAC long week as we booked only a week out, so we had no other options. We were disappointed that the price of the apartment didn't include any bed sheets, pillowcases, towels, hand towels or bathmats. This was an extra $50 per person (there were 7 of us) so we opted to bring our own. There was no dishwashing liquid to clean cooking pots and pans and no cleaning spray to wipe down benches and tables. Considering that there are limitations to the amount of luggage you can take on the ferry to Tangalooma, bringing all these things is such an inconvenience. All the shower screens in all 3 bathrooms need to be replaced as they are very mouldy and don't close properly - water leaks over the floors. All the shower heads need replacing as they have deteriorated and don't work properly. This apartment should be classed as luxury accommodation due to its size and location but all the inconveniences let down the experience. If these issues were addressed this property would no doubt receive a rating of 10. I also recommend checking the schedule of Carnival Cruises as this apartment is on level 2 of the main building at the end of the wharf where passengers are unloaded and from 7am till 11am there is very loud music playing to greet the cruisers. Due to all the cruise, all the tours were also booked out for the day even when we tried to book a few days before. Cruise ships visit this island frequently now which makes the island very crowded so plan well.
