Moreton View @ Tangalooma

The location is excellent high on the hill overlooking the bay. The steps down to the beach are close by but you need to be relatively fit as there are around 200 of them. The sunset from the deck is magical.

The property needs maintenance. There were several things that required attention. Water issues, leaking taps and water pressure which were partly fixed during our stay. The gas stove has 2 element burners that do not work. Cupboards in kitchen and wardrobes not opening or closing. The kitchen is fully over stocked with old second hand grocery, cutlery, glasses etc. The owners need to unclutter this house. We had to overlook a lot of issues during our stay which unfortunately took away from our holiday enjoyment.

It was a beautiful property! clean and had the most beautiful view! We had a men’s mental health retreat and it was a hit!

This is a great house, it has everything you need for a great getaway. The island is really a special part of the world and being able to stay in a house with amazing views was wonderful.Pack your own food & drinks, be prepared and it will be a fantastic time.

Getting to the house is a bit tricky. Its located behind the resort, so whilst stating here you are not guests of the resort, its better to get the ferry to the resort and then get to the house with assistance of the resort bus, (at a price). Unless you're driving your own 4WD.

I loved the separation of upstairs and downstairs. booked the property for my sons 16th with him and 3 mates so it was a great set up. 3 separate bathrooms was good, abundance of supplies in the kitchen cupboards, nice big fridge plus second fridge in garage, time on the deck eating and connecting was nice and the space accommodated us all nicely, beautiful sunset, close to the beach

There’s no love. - a lot of maintenance issues: - I booked for 7, we only had 5 dining chairs - kitchen light didn’t work, it was replaced and was hanging with a zip tie to hold it on - range hood light didn’t work, lady that came to repair it told me to stick a knife in and push the button across (yeah no thanks) - the range hood was filthy - one of the deck chairs was broken - there’s no curtains or blinds so you get killed with the afternoon sun, was hard trying to prepare dinner as you were just blinded by the sun in the kitchen - abundance of utensils in the drawers but they were also mixed with a heap of sharp knives which proved dangerous a couple of times with two of us cutting ourselves when looking for particular items - beautiful coffee machine but you can’t use it as they don’t provide coffee or advise which coffee you can bring for use - the wardrobe cupboard was that stiff you couldn’t open one side - there was no welcome booklet to tell you anything about the area - all the dishes could do with a good clean the light was fixed and 2 more chair were brought to us it’s a great house, just no love or regular upkeep
