The spacious lower level apartment is ground entry. This is a no stairs space. The open floor plan has 900 sq ft.
Two queen beds. Each bedroom is separate. You are close to Asheville. (15 min) Black Mountain (5 minutes), but private enough for a mountain retreat. You are 10 minutes from Montreat and great hiking trails. The guest suite is nestled in the trees with natural light. The kitchenette has a coffee pot, full size fridge, toaster oven, two eye burner hot plate, microwave, and a toaster. (No oven)Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered patio while listening to the rolling creek. There is no oven. Guest enjoy the convenience to town and the serenity of the private backyard. Pet friendly. Pickleball courts less than 1/2 mile from the suite.

Sheila is a wonderful host. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, well stocked with linens and kitchenette supplies. She left us a loaf of delicious sourdough bread as a welcome gift. The town of Black Mountain has great food (try the cuban place) and nice shops.

Quite kind and lovely. The host was responsive and flexible ehich was very much appreciated. The facilities were clean and stocked. Just the occasional cobwebs. There were dogs on property who were full of playful personality. Lovely homemade goodies and peaceful nature sounds. Would stay again.

We loved staying here. It is so close to downtown black mountain and is surrounded by beautiful scenery. The back room is very dark which is perfect for little kids/babies. Our host was very flexible with our check-in/ checkout process which was invaluable to us! The suite is located under the main house so you can hear footsteps and noise above. I would bring a white noise machine for you and your kids. Our daughter slept with a white noise machine and slept fine. Host is very responsive and helpful.
