About this house rental
White Oak Cottage is a cozy one level two bedroom, two bath cottage within walking distance and only a few blocks away from downtown Black Mountain's charming shops and great restaurants. Right off of Montreat Rd. between Black Mountain and the Montreat gate, this home has been totally remodeled in 2016 and features granite counter tops, stainless appliances, fully stocked kitchen and Hickory hardwoods. Great outdoor space with a covered front porch, rear gazebo and large landscaped yard makes a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or lounging in the evening. The primary bedroom has a king bed and the secondary bedroom has two twins, each with flat screen smart TV's.
This property is adjacent to two other of our vacation rentals. All three would be great to rent together for a family gathering or event. Cute, clean and comfortable. White Oak cottage is as described. Perfectly located near the town of Black Mountain. I especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning, drinking my coffee and taking in the view of the mountain tops between the trees. Could not have picked a better spot, just perfect!

We stayed here for a short Birthday getaway. The directions/property were easy to navigate and the house was impeccably clean and well-kept. Quiet, tucked away street. 20 minute (give or take) walk into downtown which was super quick and convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

House was warm and relaxing. Housekeeper did an excellent job in preparing and cleaning prior to our arrival. It was spotless! All necessary and essential kitchen and bath supplies were readily available. Would love to stay there again in coming months!

The location was close to downtown where we dined and enjoyed shopping. The cottage is warm, cozy and very quiet. It was very clean and everything we needed was available. Each bedroom has it's own restroom which I know is important to some. It was very roomy and seemed larger than the square footage listed. The process was easy and seamless. We would stay again!
