Blue Sky Villa in Crete

Lot's of space! Great Living room, with a big table to eat together and a big TV to relax after.

You don't get a full Villa! There is a lower level of the house not shown on the pictures where a family (I assume not the hosts) is living. It means you hear their car every morning and sometimes very late at night. They never closed the parking gate, I had to close it multiple times a day to have a feeling of perimeter. There is a staircase that leads from the "BBQ area", that by the way was unusable and there were no BBQ facilities, to the Gas station on the road above without any gate or door. And yes, Villas backyard is right behind the gas station and a car wash, so we enjoyed both the smell of the gas delivery, and the sounds of the car wash during the morning coffee and pool time.

Lovely swimming pool, marble floors, rooms air conditioning, convenient for local tavernas, Lidl not far and a wonderful bakery and coffee just over the road.

Cannot think of anything

We loved literally everything about this villa. The location is far enough out of Heraklion to be quiet without being too far away from the city (which was useful for main supermarkets), there was air conditioning (which was definitely needed for our stay at times), pool was large enough for us, and some absolutely beautiful sunsets against a stunning backdrop. Full sports package which was great for the World Cup going on at the moment. The host was also very attentive to our needs when we needed assistance and offered us some the home grown produce upon arrival which was a nice touch. There’s a small bakery over the road which does delicious croissants, donuts and baguettes and a petrol station next door (handy for the hire car!). Such a great time and we’d love to stay here again sometime!

The property is exactly as the pictures show. It’s amazing.

Nothing bad to say.
