Jacqueline is a wonderful host and exceptionally accommodating. We requested an earlier check-in, and it was offered without hesitation. On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely, warm cottage and a delicious basket of treats! Our puppy loved the property, and the garden is enclosed to allow the pup to run around - it was great! Although the temperature outside was cold (and very wet!), the house remained warm throughout, and the bedrooms were warm and comfortable at night. There is WiFi and the TVs can connect to Netflix etc.
The location is brilliant - only a 30-minute drive into the City. There is a Tesco only a few metres from the house and plenty of takeaway and sit-in restaurants nearby. The area surrounding the house is beautiful and very quiet - lots of walking tracks and plenty of locations to explore. The ocean is only a few metres from your front door!
We will definitely return and can only highly recommend this location.

We loved the quiet location and the dark skies for stargazing at night. We loved that it was dog friendly, we liked being close to the beach An Tra Mhor was minutes away and lovely to walk the dogs each morning. We enjoyed nearby Spiddal and Barna for walks and pubs.
The shop at the top of the road was super handy, and everything we needed was in the house for a few days total relaxation away from it all.
There was a funny smell in one of the rooms but we didn’t use it so it didn’t matter to us.

Everything in the cottage was gorgeous
The beds were relatively small. Fine for a couple but you need to be quite comfortable together.
