Very comfortable chalet, convenient location.
Very comfortable chalet. Four bedrooms upstairs (three doubles, two with handbasin, and one with bunk beds). Plenty of storage space. A toilet and handbasin on the half landing. Downstairs there is a small 'snug' sitting room with a sofa and TV (which we didn't watch), a downstairs shower room (lovely shower!), and a kitchen/dining room where we spent most of our time. There is a very well equipped kitchen, large fridge/freezer etc. The interior has clearly been updated relatively recently. The location is great - a bus stop right outside, another just 50m away, and about a minutes walk to the Pelerins station. Its possible to walk into Chamonix centre - about 2k away?
Could have had better communication on the ground. Very responsive to booking.com messages, but we were asked to text a local rep 48 hours in advance (which we did), but didn't get a response until after we had arrived in Chamonix. Asked to get there for 5pm and not earlier, but actually then when we arrived we had to text again just to be given a lock box code which they could have just let us know earlier?
