Extremely Disappointed with Our Stay We stayed at this chalet in Chamonix from 5–10 December with a group of 8 people, paying over €7,500+ for 5 nights, and our experience was deeply disappointing. First, we faced multiple issues that significantly impacted our stay: • The internet was down. • The sauna did not work. • There was even an electricity blackout during our time there. These problems were unacceptable, especially given the premium price we paid. Despite the inconveniences, we ensured we left the kitchen spotless – all plates, cups, and utensils were washed and cleaned before check-out. However, the management still charged my credit card, claiming that housekeeping required 2 hours to clean the chalet. This is completely unreasonable. The chalet is huge, and for a property of this size, 2 hours for housekeeping is entirely normal. It is unrealistic and unfair for the owners to expect guests to leave the chalet in a fully cleaned condition, including the toilets and the entire space. After paying such a high price, we should not be penalized further for standard cleaning. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Its notbthe chalets fault, but the buses stop quite early so we had a few late night walks
