Lovely 1-bedroom rental unit with free parking

The apartment featured modest but functional furnishings; however, the inclusion of a washing machine was a significant plus for our stay. We had groceries delivered from Walmart without any issues, and the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. For those interested in the Catholic sites, the location is approximately one mile from the Basilica; we were able to walk there several times during our visit.

The neighborhood itself was not especially attractive, and the overall location was less than ideal for public transit. It was a long walk to the nearest Metro station: while a bus stop is located directly across the street, the bus schedule did not work well for our itinerary. Advice for Future Guests: Be sure to make prior arrangements with the host regarding laundry detergent: it was not provided during our stay. Additionally, if you plan to rely on the bus, check the specific route times in advance as they can be infrequent.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment and would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-maintained place to stay. From the very beginning, everything was smooth and hassle-free, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Great location to CUA, plenty of free curb parking.

The apt was not at all well stocked. We stayed 4 nights with less than 1 full roll of TP and paper towels each, bath hand soap was empty, no hand towels, no shampoo or hair blower. 4 Keurig coffee pods for 2 people for 4 days and limited silverware and utilities. After contacting the host at least 2 times, I just bought a roll of TP and fortunately, always travel with my own toiletries. The advertised apt description was incorrect. A toaster would be nice. I also think the kitchen cabinets and inside fridge needed a good wipe down. To give the host the benefit of the doubt, perhaps her cleaning crew just screwed up—still 3/4 roll of TP for 4 days and no extra roll?
