About this apartment rental
So here goes.
It's private, ground floor, comfortable and entirely yours. There's a king-size Hypnos bed, a rather super Italian double sofabed, a shower that's suspiciously difficult to leave, and enough tea, coffee and essentials to make arriving feel less like checking in and more like being expected.
Dogs are welcome too. Yours has probably already decided this looks excellent and is quietly waiting for you to get on with booking it for it's outdoor dog spa ( minus the cucumber refreshers!).
Children are welcome as well. We realise they may not have been entirely consulted during the booking process, but Barton has beaches, ice cream and enough space to run about. They'll cope. Dog spa can be used to hose them down too. Double wammy.
The beach is across the road. The New Forest is next door. And for a few days at least, whatever's currently filling your inbox can wait.
If you're thinking about a few days by the sea, this is the part where we're supposed to tell you about the apartment.

Free parking too, because nobody wants to start a holiday arguing with a meter.
Now, the important bit if you're bringing the dog.
Barton beach has no seasonal dog restrictions. None. While plenty of neighbouring beaches start putting up the "not you, Fido" signs for summer, dogs are welcome here all year round.
And out of season, it gets even better. Empty beaches at low tide, brisk sea air and miles of clifftop walking without having to negotiate windbreaks, children with buckets or someone carrying four ice creams and regretting every decision they've made.
Come back muddy and there's a warm outdoor dog shower, so most of Barton beach can remain outside rather than joining you in the apartment. The floors are tiled throughout too, so there's no cream carpet waiting inside to ruin everybody's afternoon.
Bowls, treats and poo bags are provided, along with a few useful bits for evening walks. There's also a communal garden for last-thing-at-night poopies, because nobody wants to put their shoes and coat back on at 11pm.
By this point, your dog has already decided.
You're apparently the one holding things up.
