Relax And Go - Strasbourg Train Station

One of the loveliest accommodation experiences we have ever had This was honestly one of the loveliest accommodation experiences we have ever had. The apartment itself is in a fantastic location – just a few steps from the train station, yet also within easy walking distance of the city centre. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable, and absolutely everything we could possibly need was provided, from toiletries and entertainment such as Netflix to two air-conditioning units, which were very welcome during the hot weather. But what truly made our stay exceptional was our wonderful host, Dahbia. Her kindness and hospitality went far beyond anything we could have expected. She was in touch with us even before our arrival, sending helpful information and a guide to make everything easier. When she learned that I had injured my knee, she arranged for the apartment to be ready earlier so that we would not have to wait for the usual check-in time, and she even helped us carry all our luggage upstairs. And then we discovered what she had prepared for us: croissants, pain au chocolat, cake, baguette, fruit, drinks, ice cream, biscuits, sweets and a wonderfully stocked fridge. It felt less like arriving at a rental apartment and more like being welcomed into the home of someone who genuinely cared that we were comfortable and happy. There are stairs to the apartment and they are quite steep, as others have mentioned, but for us this was completely outweighed by everything else – and especially by Dahbia’s extraordinary warmth, generosity and care. Dahbia, thank you for making our stay in Strasbourg so special. We will remember your kindness long after the trip itself.

Dahbia was a fantastic host. Her apartment is very well located for the train station and a short walk to the main sights. The apartment is very clean and well maintained. Dahbia had all the supplies you could need to start your stay with, together with local pastries which were a very nice touch. The apartment is very comfortable and we really appreciated the small details that Dahbia adds to make your stay very pleasant. Fortunately we had her help with our heavy suitcases up the steep stairs. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was welcome during the heat. Chez Tanti Liesel was a fabulous dinner venue!

There is no view out of the windows except for neighbours, but the shutters remained closed while we were there as it was hot. The stairs are very steep, so would not be suitable for elderly people.

O apartamento está muito bem localizado a poucos minutos da estação de Estrasburgo. Os quartos contam com ar condicionado portátil, as camas são muito confortáveis, a cozinha bem equipada e o banheiro espaçoso. Mas o ponto alto é o carinho e a hospitalidade de Dahbia, que nos recebeu muito bem e deixou vários itens de alimentação para nossa estadia, de uma forma que eu nunca vi! Recomendo muito o apartamento!
