“Casa Annarosa” ampio appartamento nel cuore di Piombino

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment and would happily come back again. The apartment itself is a stunning old Italian home full of charm and character. It is much larger than it appears in the Booking photos, with plenty of space to relax. One of the highlights is the huge, comfortable terrace, which was perfect for enjoying breakfast, dinner, or simply spending time outdoors. Despite the summer heat, the apartment stays pleasantly cool thanks to its thick walls and excellent natural ventilation. There are also air conditioners in two of the bedrooms, which made sleeping very comfortable at night, as well as fans available throughout the apartment. The apartment is exceptionally well equipped for a longer stay. We spent 11 nights there and found everything we needed: soap, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, salt, sugar, and many other everyday essentials. The kitchen has all the cookware, dishes, and utensils you could possibly need, making it feel like a real home rather than a holiday rental. Piombino itself is a charming town, and the apartment is ideally located just a short walk from the main streets of the historic center, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby. To reach the area's beautiful beaches, however, having a car is definitely recommended. There were only a couple of minor inconveniences. On our last day, the gas ran out, but since we were leaving anyway, it wasn't really an issue. Also, during our stay, roadworks began on the street outside the two bedrooms, so we had to wake up early when the workers started drilling in the morning. Of course, this was temporary and outside the hosts' control. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The host and her mother were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. They made us feel genuinely cared for. We would love to return one day and can wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Piombino.

Just a small suggestion for future: it would be helpful to leave a short instruction about the alarm system inside the apartment. When we left the apartment for the first time, we accidentally triggered the alarm because we didn't know how to deactivate it. We contacted the host, who replied quickly and sent us the code, so everything was resolved without any problems. Having a simple note with the instructions would make the arrival even smoother.

Wij gaan meerdere keren per jaar naar Piombino en dit is één van de fijnste appartementen waar we hebben verbleven. Het is compleet qua servies, kookgerei, stoelen e.d. het is ontzettend schoon en je hebt ondanks de plek, geen geluidsoverlast van de straat omdat de ramen en luiken alles tegenhouden en je de airco aan kan zetten als het warm is. Het terras is ontzettend groot! We hebben het fijn gehad.

I cannot recommend this property and its owners highly enough. The property is even more beautiful than the images, the location is perfect and the hosts are the kindest people I’ve ever rented from in all my decades of travelling. Parking is free, aircon is newly installed and for my mum and I it was a home away from home which we needed. Grazie Michele e la tue famiglia per tutto 🤗
