The two bedroom - two bathroom setup was ideal for us. Separate kitchen/living area was also a bonus. Normally this would be an outstanding property. The location was great. Very close to the town centre and easy access to nearby villages, e.g. Marlow and Henley-on-Thames.

Unfortunately the heating stopped working after our first day (we were there for four nights) and the temperature outside was below 0 at night. We notified Oliver but we were still unable to get the heating working.

The apartment was clean and well presented. The location was great and really convenient for the train station and town centre.

The apartment would benefit from air conditioning. It was uncomfortably hot on a mildly warm spring weekend (not even the height of summer). It was also not clear from the listing that the apartment is split over two floors, with the kitchen/living room upstairs. This was not ideal as we were staying with a toddler who needed supervision up and down the stairs and had a lot less space to wander around freely than we had anticipated. The listing says parking is available on-site and that you won't need to book, but it turns out you need a permit and only one is provided without the option to get another one, so if you have more than one car you will have to pay for parking elsewhere.
