The location was great. The staff was friendly. The amenities were worth the price. Excellent place for the family and also for adults to wind down while kids play. Our room didn’t have toiletries, shower amenities or kitchen cleaning supplies or oven mitts.

I didn’t like that our room was short or lacking supplies for at least one night of comfort. We had to purchase toilet tissue, bath soap, dish soap/ dishwasher, washing detergent and fabric softener, cleaning supplies for the up keep for check out rules. Also for our stay there the entire time. For the price I could have done the Hilton and took kids to a splash pad/ water activity somewhere else.

We liked that it was directly on the beach and that the pools were right there on the property. The water pressure for showers was wonderful and the space for our family was great. The washer and dryer in the unit was a definite plus! I also liked that we got a10% discount at the Alvins Island attached to the parking garage.

The unit itself was very minimally supplied. Literally one towel per person, only one hand towel for each bathroom, one roll of toilet paper for each toilet and one paper towel roll, all for a full week with 4 guests. Every piece of furniture in the unit was uncomfortable! It was very difficult to relax after a long day in the sun due to the couch and bed being so uncomfortable. In fairness, I had read this on many other reviews, but was hopeful that the owner of the condo had replaced some of it since those reviews had been over a year ago. Nope. Minimal dishes in the kitchen. I have stayed at other condos on the beach, and there was a small closet with some beach supplies. There weren't any here and that was disappointing, especially considering the price. Big negative to the whole resort is the elevator situation. There are literally 2 elevators for 20 floors with 6 units! I felt like I spent about 1/4 of my time at the resort waiting for an elevator! At one point, I chose to walk up 16 flights of stairs to my unit. Also, it would've been nice if there was a small area on each floor to keep a couple of the carts for loading up. Instead, you have to take the elevator down, walk to the parking garage, then bring the cart back to the condo, wait for the elevator and take it back to your unit. It was just added frustration while on vacation.
