Lovely and cozy apartment close to the beach

3rd floor apartment

Apartment was lovely especially clean and comfortable. Very grateful for the fan as extremely hot.

Smell of dogs and cigarettes in the lower communal areas. Not able to contact hosts. Was advised access codes would be given by SMS. We left home a few days before our stay so couldn't get internet to read emails. Called the hosts number 4 times but no answer. Finally got in when helpful french lady let us access her internet. Internet didn't work in the apartment. Internal doors a bit awkward and plastic cover on the mattress not good in the 40 deg heat.

Quiet and convenient location,

The location was great for exploring that part of Normandy. A pleasant 10 minute walk to the Port, which was a lively place. The flat was quiet, reasonably well equipped, clean and sufficient for 2 people, self catering.

The sofa bed is not very comfortable as a sofa (we did not use it as a bed). It caused my wife problems with her back, so she spent every evening on one of the dining chairs. The toilet is SMALL! The smallest 'smallest room' we have ever encountered! As a relatively tall person, my knees were practically touching the wall. Awkward and claustrophobic. And so many doors opening into the small area outside the bedroom, bathroom and toilet. At least one door could be removed. Lastly, the only table knives were steak knives. Good knives for steak, but very inconvenient for spreading butter, jam etc. A few regular table knives would be an improvement.

Nice and clean apartment. Easy to go many places/musea in the area. The view from the terrace is nice.

Flat generally ok. Toilet was incredibly small and no use for someone with limited mobility.

Manager had 'forgotten' to send me the entry instructions. Had to phone up several numbers to speak to someone to get the entry routines. Manager also sent leaving instructions after we had left. Administration was hopeless in this regard.

Großzügige Wohnung mit schönem Ausblick

Schöne, sehr saubere Wohnung in Mehrfamiienhaus mit kleinem Balkon mit schönem Blick. Separates Schlafzimmer. Großzügiger Wohnraum mit offener Küche. Ausstattung mit allem, was man braucht, sogar Kaffeekapseln waren vorhanden. Ein reservierter Parkplatz gehörte ebenfalls zur Wohnung. Nette Nachbarn auf der Etage. Ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum Hafen.

Hinweis, dass sich die Wohnung im zweiten Stock befindet ohne Aufzug könnte für manche Reisende hilfreich sein.

Het appartement zelf was netjes, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig & zat qua locatie op een goede plek. Het vissersdorpje is erg gezellig. Op de fiets konden wij makkelijk musea en Omaha beach bezoeken.

Het appartementen complex zelf was wat grimmig, gangen waren donker en het gebouw stonk naar natte hond & sigaretten. De douche moest je in de hand vasthouden, niet heel praktisch.

- récupération clés via coffre sécurisé = pratique - logement spacieux et dernier étage - communication très réactive et sympathique via message - cafetière à disposition - très bon emplacement - lit bébé disponible - place parking attitrée

- nous n'avons pas eu de chance avec la vaisselle sale rangée : nous avons prévenir le propriétaire qui n'était pas au courant - lave vaisselle rouillé ou tâches incrustées) : nous n'avons pas pu l'utiliser pour la vaisselle/biberons du bébé du coup par sécurité - dernier étage sans ascenseur --> il faudrait l'ajouter à l'annonce pour éviter la mauvaise surprise :) - terrasse extérieure non sécurisée pour enfant (et bébé 2,5 ans pouvait facilement ouvrir la porte qui mène à cette petite terrasse, j'aurais aimé pouvoir la fermer à clés)
