Gorgeous views of Dubrovnik and Adriatic. Cold air conditioning and fast WiFi. Modern, clean, updated unit. Kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with snacks. Walk down to town in 6-7 minutes. Walk up to unit from town in 15 minutes or take taxi. Yes there are lots of stairs as is case for any apartment with views over town. Balcony is shaded in morning - perfect for coffee / breakfast. Would stay here again!

Gabby is an extremely friendly and welcoming host. We really appreciated all the little touches upon arrival: drinks in the fridge, sweets and chocolate croissants. She was very responsive and provided plenty of guides about Dubrovnik throughout the apartment, along with her own personal recommendations, which were very helpful. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a coffee machine, kitchen equipment and even the possibility to do laundry. We especially enjoyed the side terrace upon arrival. It can be shaded thanks to the integrated screen and has a foldable drying rack outside, which was very convenient. The view is absolutely incredible. There is only one air conditioner, located in the kitchen/living area, but it was sufficient to cool the apartment. It is a little noisy, but nothing excessive. The apartment is about a 10–15 minute walk downhill to the beach and around 20 minutes uphill on the way back. I am not a very sporty person, and I found the climb manageable in the evening when it was cooler, but I would not recommend doing it in the middle of the day during the summer heat. With luggage, it is possible but a little tiring. Overall, this is a calm and charming place with breathtaking views and a wonderful host. We would happily stay here again for a short visit to Dubrovnik.

A few small points to note: the bed was a bit too soft for our preference. We noticed some signs of humidity on one of the bedroom walls and a few flying ants, so make sure not to leave food out and keep the windows closed when possible. For longer stays, an additional dehumidifier might be helpful. There are also a few exposed electrical wires in the bathroom where a light may have previously been installed, nothing dangerous though. Also, don’t rely entirely on Google Maps walking times, as they do not fully account for the steep uphill sections. If you have luggage, I recommend taking a taxi directly to the address indicated by Gabby.

The view is absolutely incredible, and it’s so nice to spend time on the terrace admiring it. The overall apartment is nice and modern, and the hosts were so sweet and provided us with some small treats, as well as amenities. Do keep in mind that it takes a lot of stairs to get up to the apartment from old town, but after a delicious dinner, it was honestly perfect. And plenty of taxis are everywhere, if you need a ride up to the place.

There was only one AC unit in the hallway, so it makes it a bit harder to cool down the bedroom and living room.
