Sehr ruhige Lage am Ortsrand mit Blick ins Tal. Gutes Doppelbett ohne Besucherritze. Praktische Einrichtung, es hat an nichts gefehlt.

Bijzonder vriendelijke ontvangst. De ligging is heel rustig en toch ben je te voet snel in het mooie centrum van Allendorf. Fijne, bescheiden sfeer in de woning. Parkeren is makkelijk. Je voelt je er welkom.

De badkamer is klein, vooral de wastafel is daardoor onpraktisch. De woonkamer / keuken en de slaapkamer vormen één ruimte die wordt gescheiden door een kast. Om in de woning te komen moet men een paar treden op. Maar dit was geen probleem voor ons.

I‘m not sure why all the reviews aren‘t a 10, because this cozy apartment had all the amenities to make for a very pleasant stay. We arrived on bicycles on a freezing cold day and Silke let us check in early. She even provided my husband with a pail and towels to wash our extremely muddy bicycles off. We had a warm, dry basement room to safely store our bikes and were able to charge them right there. In the apartment we were greeted with wine and bottled water, and the small space heated up quickly so we were toasty warm. The sheets on the bed were FLANNEL, so we slept like kings in pillowy softness. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook a nice meal. The water was hot, and there was plenty of natural light to stave off the winter gloom. The whole space was clean and fresh-smelling, with just the right amount of furnishings. We were right off the main cycle path, which made it nice after a long day of cycling, and the history of the east/west border wall made for a really interesting visit. When the weather permits, there is a memorial just two km away from the stay. The apartment has been newly remodeled, and I think it‘s going to be a great success, especially for cyclists.
