Like a picture–perfect postcard, this idyllic cottage is set right in the heart of the Cotswolds in one of the area’s best–loved locations: Broadway. They don’t call it an area of outstanding natural beauty for no reason, and this charming home presents the ideal space to retreat to for those hoping to sample authentic Cotswolds life. The typical yellow–stone architecture creates a breathtaking frontage, meanwhile the charming, cream–coloured crossed windows add to the quaint look and feel. Ready to head inside? This place is just so inviting, we can’t wait to explore each and every nook and cranny. This home is cute and cosy from top to bottom. Soft neutral tones illuminate the walls, and contrasting shades of red, yellow and blue paint the accessories. In the open–plan living/dining room, traditional terracotta tiles pave the floors and a cosy rug covers the area in front of the blue sofa and chair. The walls are decorated with lamps and mirrors, and in the corner, there is a TV and DVD player, welcoming you to watch your favourite flicks in the homeliest setting. We love the textures in this home - they really bring everything to life. From the snuggly faux fur throws at the end of the beds, to the plush velvet of the yellow armchair, these touches certainly make things extra sumptuous. The bathroom is wonderful, too. Head here at the end of the day for a long, hot, bubbly soak. If the sun is shining, be sure to head out into the garden to make the most of the outdoor dining area.
