About this house rental
Let 200+ feet of beautiful frontage on Lake Hartwell greet you on your family vacation or corporate outing. We hope this 5 bedroom 3 bath home can be your perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of life. Only 15 minutes to Clemson University, this home comes ready to entertain the whole family. A full sized multi-cade arcade game, Ping pong, foosball, darts, multiple TVs, toys for kids, plenty of board games, multiple kayaks (at your own risk) for your lake perusing, and good coffee.
*There is no boat dock. *
*Please note that the property took substantial damage during Helene. Though the home is back in tip-top shape, there are still multiple trees down on the land between the house and the lake. This land technically belongs to the US Army Corps of Engineers (as does all the Lake Hartwell shoreline), and they will not allow us to remove/mulch any of those downed trees*

Excellent place to stay. Plenty of room for all our young adults and college kids to have a bed. The owner was quick to respond to me. The owner had not cleaned the yard up from last year's storm so there were lots of trees down in the back yard. I wish there were a dock although there is a small clean bit of shoreline. Lots of coffee for our coffee drinkers!

Hurricane Helene ravaged our area in September and certainly impacted this property. However, the owner was transparent and communicative re: the progress on the repairs being made and timeline for our visit and was responsive to any inquiries we made. We were offered the opportunity to change our booking but had looked at MANY other properties in the area for our family gathering and felt comfortable with our decision to keep our reservation. We were not disappointed. It being winter, the limited access to the lake amenities was not a hindrance to our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and well suited to our group. We look forward to a time in the future when we can take full advantage of Coffee and Kayaks.

Our family vacation was wonderful! The house provided abundant activities for everyone. We played cards and board games. We went out on the kayaks, canoes, floats and an extra large water mat. Everything we wanted, and more, was available. We saw a doe almost daily and often saw a doe with a fawn crossing in the back yard. The view from the backyard deck was our favorite place to be. The host was easy to contact and responded promptly. The setting of the house, a bit off the road, on a quiet, easily walkable street was great. I would highly recommend Coffee and Kayaks. And, yes, the coffee options were fabulous. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. A welcoming and enjoyable stay was had by all!
