Magical

Literally everything. It was magical. We stayed in the Treehouse for Valentines weekend. We felt like we were a million miles away from home. It was so serene.

Perfect stay with fantastic host

Me and my partner came to stay for a valentines weekend and it was perfect, dawn was brilliant as she called me to confirm the booking and after a brief explanation of why we were coming she couldn’t do more for us, from decorating the tipi to leaving lovely little touches around the private tipi space. The tipi, fire pits, bbq area and hot tub were perfect with all firewood and utensils provided and pre lit for our arrival. We look forward to coming again in the summer and trying out some of the other areas to stay!

Amazing. Warm. Calm

It was cosy, quiet and warm despite it being a tipi in the middle if January. The log burner was a stunning addition. Dawn was rushed off her feet, but honestly so lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. We enjoyed a takeaway which the amazing staff picked up for us and dropped into our tent for a ten pound delivery fee which was really kind . The staff here really go above and beyond. The dog loved his stay too. 🤍

Couldn’t of asked for a better owner to be welcomed in to stay, glass of wine upon arrival whilst showing us around, very down to earth, can tell she cares a lot about her home and guests.

All of the features included with the chalet were modern and good quality. We were very impressed with the chalet and the hot tub was excellent.

There was a delay with check in due to the weather freezing up the pipes. We came back later as agreed but the chalet still wasn’t ready. The host was very apologetic and arranged a later check out and a bottle of wine for our delay.

5* experience -will be rebooking

We stayed in a tipi in the middle of winter (crazy) but dawn the owner had gone above and beyond to make sure the tipi was warm and would stay warm. Heater, electric blankets and a log fire. The hot tub was beautiful in the cold weather and the amenities were top notch- not a single complaint.

Dawn was extremely welcoming and went out of her way to ensure we were very happy throughout our stay. I couldn’t find a bad thing about this stay and they really have gone above and beyond to ensure all the finishing touches are there. We will definitely be back in the summer.

Lovely settting and view just have stayed in cleaner more equipt properties.

Lovey location and chalet could be amazing. Felt private and had a stunning view.

It wasn’t very clean. Needed attention to detail. Once we arrived we were informed the bar wouldn’t be opened (advertising a bar and evening meal) and we were also informed breakfast would not be served the following morning. (Again was advertised) there’s no option to have anything delivered however you can find a local pub a short drive away. Booked with hot tub, the hot tub was hot on arrival but did cool quickly and did not keep the heat. Contact number no one answers whether you ring or text so couldn’t be sorted during the stay.

2/10, not worth the money. Good idea but poorly executed.

The idea of the place was nice, but didn't meet standards or expectations.

Located on a farm, not what I was expecting. Looked very unprofessional. Looked like a child's den in a scruffy garden. Whole place was soaked on arrival, had to clean it up before I let my partner in. Eyelashes and stains on bedding. Hot tub was cold and wouldn't heat up.

Dirty

The location

When we arrived there was no answer, the owner appeared after a short wait. She saw us to our tipi which had flooded so half the carpet was soaked as you entered. The owner had put a heater in to try dry it out but didn't offer an alternative room or refund. The floor was dirty with muck, tissue and bobbles. The bed had crisps on. The towels had dirt on. The fridge was on the highest setting and had a jug of frozen milk inside. Cleanliness was not a strong point here. Even with the weather, the decking wasn't cleared of leaves and the paths wasn't very well lit all across the site. The hot tub wasn't clean and didn't work properly. We wouldn't stay here again. Not worth the money for one night and unacceptable to not even offer a partial refund for the state.

It was very memorable stay for us, with all the unusual things

We stayed in one bedroom chalet at the end of October. The staff decorated our lodge as it was our anniversary- it was really sweet of them - thank you! There was also orange black balloons because of Halloween. I think the location of our accommodation scores 10 out 10- unobstructed view of the hills with some sheep’s grazing on the grass nearby. And you can see no one and nothing else- amazing! The hot tub in the evening was absolutely God send - with its roof and hot temperature when it was raining and cold outside - that was awesome!

The chalet itself - cosy but quite small for family of four , with “interesting” set up of the cooker. But perfectly doable for one night stay, especially if your main method of cooking is BBQ. The main source of heat is the wood burner, so if it’s four of you, that’s right near the sofa bed, which wasn’t perfect, but again doable. The temperature of the hot tub wasn’t hot enough the next morning. When we contacted the staff, we were told it’s probably because we had jets on without using the hot tub - which we didn’t . And that it will warm up soon, but it didn’t really happen.

Very little. Some kind of screening to the left of the hot tub would be great as it’s not quite fully private - perhaps one of those trellis panels with fake greenery would do the trick. Also a couple of hooks outside for hanging robes would be helpful.

Fantastic Hotel, great staff, excellent rooms and facilities

Loved every minute of my stay at this property. From the minute we arrived we felt welcomed. Our check in process was completed in the onsite bar, i had a beer while everything was sorted out, The room was fantastic, especially the bed. Probably one of the comfiest mattresses i have ever slept in :-). The room and bathroom was very spacious and clean. The room had everything we needed. We had booked a room with a private area that contained a firepit, BBQ and hot tub. This was excellent and felt very secluded. We took advantage of the BBQ meat packs on offer, they were delicious.

The only thing i could say was the weather could have been a little better, we arrived in the middle of storm Amy. Obviously this is out of the venues control however this didnt dampen their effort to make our stay exceptional

Was a lovely room and facilities however wouldn’t say it is value for money.

The room was lovely, the bed was so comfy and the bbq and fire were already made up for us on arrival, as well as the hot tub being warm.

When we arrived nobody was around to check us in. We were waiting around 20 minutes as well as trying the numbers as suggested with no answer. There were also a lot of tents around us as well which we weren’t expecting, we were hoping it would be a lot more secluded and private.

Wasn't what we thought it was hard to find contact number after 6pm is wrong .the room was awful not what we thought we had booked no were to sit hot tub was outside not private at all basically it was a camp site .for the money we paid it was disgraceful could have got a lot better elsewhere as for the advertising of the place leaves a lot to be desired not a true picture only saw 1 member of staff I think he was running the place he was very nice but seemed to be doing everything what with people checking in a dealing with hundreds of campers and other queries it was chaos never again.

Super relaxing, beautiful lodge, fantastic view from our lodge

Our lodge was gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. It was nice and private, located just outside of the other accommodation. It had an exceptional view of the countryside and The hot tub was fantastic. Staff were very attentive

The only suggestions we have are that a small oven would have made cooking a little easier and maybe a fan as the lodge did get quite warm

Stunning views with beautiful accommodation.

Beautiful setting and grounds. Room was very nice.

Although you expect flies and wasps etc in the countryside, there was such a lot of them hovering around on the balcony , then flying into the room. Maybe an insect zapper in the rooms would be useful.
