Perfect location, close to wedding venue, with a cafe across the road. Enjoyed sitting under the shade of the tree. Lovely host.

The Cotman Cottage was a wonderful stay. The hosts have clearly thought a lot about guest comfort and delivered in every aspect. The cottage was extremely clean, well equipped and the bed was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely addition with the choice of cereals, toast and hot drinks. It is situated on a very peaceful and quiet piece of land and we would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay and explore the area. A truly exceptional stay worthy of 10 stars.

Stayed at this property December 2022 and impressed then. Returning, it was great the high standard of service and care has continued. The continental breakfast was a nice surprise. I hadn't thought that far ahead.

Perfectly peaceful!

It was very peaceful, despite being so close to a major road. The little touches were lovely - the breakfast in the fridge, the 2 outdoor sitting areas, the lights in the tree. I loved staying here and would stay again in a heartbeat. It is also close to a lovely market for your food, should you need it.

Beautiful Stay!

We had the most wonderful stay here. We had a wedding to go to at Allely Estate, so it was within easy walking distance. The cottage was immaculate and clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Sitting on the deck enjoying the afternoon sun is delightful. Would definitely recommend

Country feel accommodation.

The cottage was affordable and clean.

I didn't like the cottage for a few reasons. The cottage is basically a rectangle box lined with plywood. It was very humid when we stayed and there is only a fan, no heatpump to cool the room. This meant leaving the window open causing me to get an insect bite during the night which required me having to go to the doctor when I returned home. The facilities are minimal with nowhere to put toiletries etc. The door didn't open and was sticking and was difficult to get into, especially the first time. The property is also hard to find for the first time and needs better signage.
