Beautiful apartment with kitchen and living room inside walled city. It's close to all of the sights and easy to check in and check out.
The AC was a portable one and guests are not allowed to move it. As a result, the cool air did not reach the sleeping area and it was pretty hot at night.

Excellent location, lovely host responded on WhatsApp when we had questions about check-in. Gave us a list of recommendations on where to eat which was great. Aircon unit was very effective, we left it off when we were out and it cooled down the room really quickly.
WiFi didn't work the whole time we were there and weirdly no signal in our room despite good signal in the rest of Lucca. Musky damp smell when we arrived initially realised that the bath matt smelt damp so we left it out to dry but the damp smell kept returning in the bathroom. Extractor fan wouldn't work so no way to ventilate and had to keep the door closed to stop the smell entering our room.

The flat was cute and super convenient. The hosts were great very informative and helpful.
The toilet was clean but smelled bad. We couldn’t find anything but there was a constant smell of sewers that was very off putting. Perhaps air coming up from inside the drains!
