Good place for solo travelers or couples who do not like stairs and want to be next to the city centre.

Location, quiet street, ground floor good for heavy luggage and leg problem, staff digital assistance.

- towels too small - not enough shelves in bathroom - lighting plugs and bulbs can be improved

Would have been fine except got the toilet situation!

The flat was cute and super convenient. The hosts were great very informative and helpful.

The toilet was clean but smelled bad. We couldn’t find anything but there was a constant smell of sewers that was very off putting. Perhaps air coming up from inside the drains!

Communication with our host Ilaria was outstanding. She helped us with bedding and booking taxis.

It's suitable for short or long term, well-furnished, great host.

We had a nice stay, apartman was very clean, beds are comfy, enough towels and kitchen equipments, nice coffee machine with coffee pods. Close to the city center and we liked that it wasn't in the crowded streets and it was ground floor so no steps. Good for elderly. Cafes and restaurants are close by. Host was very responsive and polite. Easy to get the key, instructions are very detailed.

Such a lovely apartment in a cool part of town

Such a lovely apartment in a cool part of town, loved this place so much. The host Ilaria was fantastic, so kind and helpful and gave us some great recommendations for cafes, bars and restaurants. The apartment itself was perfect, really cool inside, has everything you need and a very comfy bed. It’s located in a lovely part of town surrounded by really nice bars, cafes and restaurants and near everything. Loved our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone.

Cosy apartment in a lovely corner of Lucca

Spacious studio with cosy dining section. Fully equiped kitchen. Located in rather a quiet street without a lot of traffic. Fast communication with the host; arrival/entering instructions were very clear.

Maybe flip the mattress one day since most people apparently sleep on the same side of the bed

Wonderful accommodation in Lucca

Le mongolfiere is a wonderful accommodation in Lucca, in the old town, close to piazza del Amfiteatro. We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is very nice decorated, really charming and in the kitchen area you find everything that you need for cooking. We loved the feeling of staying for a few days in this beautiful accommodation and strolling around the streets of old town Lucca.

Nice stay in Lucca

The host was really kind and very helpful. The appartment is very spacious and very well furnished. The attention to detail is present everywhere.

A window to air the appartment would have been great (there is one in the kitchen but it can't really be opened easily). Instead the entrance door needs to be opened as the appartment is literally located right off the street.

Todo, la atención por parte de Chiara, la ubicación, la amplitud, decoración, comodidad, champán de bienvenida, instalaciones… limpísimo. Creo que es de los mejores lugares donde nos hemos hospedado. Volveremos sin duda. Espectacular en todos los sentidos. Totalmente recomendable.

La anfitriona, no la conocimos personalmente, pero no hizo falta, estuvo pendiente en todo momento de nosotros, nos mandaba información para comer en sitios recomendados. Nos tenía café y agua. Y nos sorprendió por la mañana con un detallazo muy rico. Quedamos muy satisfechos.

Pernottamento piacevolissimo: servizio, pulizia e posizione impeccabili. Tutto ok, ma per il prezzo pagato ci si aspettava anche la colazione inclusa. Con quel dettaglio in più sarebbe stato perfetto!

Ottima posizione, dotazioni super complete, procedure di check-in/out semplici e veloci, staff disponibile e fornisce anche ottimi consigli sulla zona.

Prezzo un tantino eccessivo a mio avviso, nonostante la concomitanza con il Lucca Summer Fest (motivo del mio viaggio)

Zona centralissima, appartamento molto bello, proprietaria gentile e disponibile.

Se proprio devo trovare qualcosa segnalerei un piccolo problema di umidità ma si compensa tenendo aperto un pò.
