I visited this guesthouse as a family of 4 adults, and our opinions were mixed. 1 family member liked the natural surrounding setup and basic accomodation 'for a change', 1 was okay with it, 2 were disappointed and even angry about the low standard of the place.
It was almost impossible to identify any 'staff', turned out 'staff' was a young guy only capable of speaking English (not German as you would expect in a German-speaking country), but at least he was engaged and helpful. The facilities were very basic (shared shower rooms and toilets, mostly clean; shared kitchen corner but one could use only 1 electrical outlet at the same time, imagine the wait when 3-4 guests want to cook at the same time). Pretty much everything required extra payments, like using the washing machine, even leaving garbage! Before checkout, guests have to remove the bedclothes and bring them to the basement by themselves. That was unique! x-)
Personally, I couldn't avoid the feeling that the owner (whoever it was, never saw him/her) wants to avoid investments in the place by marketing it as 'green'. I would not go there anymore if I want my co-travelers to feel comfortable, especially when they're older. Might be a good fit for single or couple budget travelers who are ready to roll up their sleeves and basically help to accommodate themselves to save a few Euros.

Hostel Very difficult to find.
No power outlets in the room.
Wifi is terrible.
Clean toilets, clean sink, shower is okay.
Friendly staff.
