Proximity to Deception Pass. The house is VERY NICE and well suited to a large work or family gathering!
1. It was only 50 degrees in the house and the heaters were NOT cooperating with my attempts to turn them on. After a while I finally got the living room heater to work but the house is HUGE and by morning the temperature was only up to 62 degrees.
2. Even the gas fireplace wouldn't work!
3. And to say that it has a "view of the bay" is a tremendous exaggeration! Look at the photos, you can barely make out the water.
4. The entrance to the house is very treacherous for anyone, especially mobility challenged persons. It's a very steep and uneven walk path to the front door. The tree trunks hang very low and as a 5'10" tall person I had to bend over to duck under them to get to the front door. The owners are obviously aware that the entrance is treacherous because they have several caution signs in the yard.
5. The tiny solar lights lining the pathway to the front door are all broken and the one that was intact didn't even work.
