Bosco Paradiso

Its a nice cozy place amidst the wilderness. Many trails nearby. They provided eggs, milk, smoked beef, jam, butter, cheese, cereals. It was a different experience preparing our food in the wilderness. Loved it.

The path to get there was a bit tricky.

The location, cleanliness

Just that the bed was a little uncomfortable and feels like it needs a replacement. Will definitely visit the place again though

This place is a little paradise in the mountains. we were lucky to have the whole site almost to ourselves, so it was very quiet. the cabins are basic but have everything you need for a comfy stay. the frisdge is small so if you plan to stay long and barbecue etc that would be a bit of a challenge, but cooking some lunch etc is easy. the place is set in the middle of the woods, the birds are in front of you singing while you are having breakfast. the access road might feel a little tricky for unexperienced drivers, but even after some rain it was fine, just push through. We could go on hikes for hours just levaing from the cabin. On two occassions we saw Moufflon in the wild! You can hike in fifteen minutes to the charming Treis Elies, but there is no convenience store or anything within walking distance.

everything was amazing, wish I could stay forever

The idea of the chalets in the woods is nice and the room although tiny was very clean and clean towels were provided.

The chalet has no insulation so we had to leave by 10am and come back after 7pm as the heat was unbearable and we only had one fan, so we could not rest during the day. There is no wardrobe so not comfortable at all for staying longer than a night. We didn’t manage to find the right temperature to take a shower, was either too hot or too cold and there was a flooding problem as well. Also you couldn’t really cook a meal, as there was only a portable gas stove. The two bedroom house next to us was used for parties, for 2 of the 4 nights we stayed and this was annoying as we expected to enjoy the wood sounds and not party music.
