The quaintness of the place. It's obviously a DIY building, but it was done with love, given all the art and nice places to sit outside.
It was a very warm day and the house uses a swamp cooler rather than an AC. It generally kept the place cool (or rather less hot than the outside). A fan was provided, thank goodness; it would have been very uncomfortable otherwise.

I wasn’t crazy about the drive there, but that’s because I am afraid of heights. Lol. There are some high mountain roads to get through in order to get there.

Prachtig gelegen, herten en kolibries in de tuin. Leuk ingericht met oog voor detail. Gezellige zitjes buiten om lekker in te lezen. Keuken voorzien van alle benodigheden. Bedden en bedbank waren goed. Geen muggen binnen doordat er overal horren zijn. Host was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Probably too remote and we were kept up with possums gnawing the corner of the house.
