Spacious Villa close to an amazing Sithonia beach

Before I list all the things I loved about my stay, I would like to give a disclaimer: this is not a 5star hotel with it's pristine attributes - this is a place for down to earth people who can enjoy a rustic experience. A thing or two could use some maintenance, but here it goes: Property - secluded, lots of trees and shadow which keep you cool during summer heat, no other houses around in immediate proximity. Lots of umbrellas with comfy chairs and tables around the perimeter of the house. One particular corner of the house has a nice breeze during the hot day, perfect for day meals. Birds chirp and sing all day long, nice acoustic touch all throughout the day! Note: while you can technically walk to other beaches and restaurants, it takes a good walk and during the summer day might be a bit too much for unseasoned vacationers, so rental car is recommended. Beach - just few minutes walk to the beach via a private woodsy trail, right from the backyard. This beach is not your typical commercial beach - no bars or lounge chairs - just the sea, rocks on the sides and a magnificent view of Mount Athos. On the left side there are more pockets of even more secluded beach areas, easily walkable along the shore. Beach umbrella and some snorkeling gear is provided. Hospitality - great responsive and proactive host. Aris lives on the same property but you never really run into him, other than upon arrival. I suggest to exchange contacts - he is most responsive and can help you with your questions if any. When it rained during one night he put all the chair cushions away and protected things from getting wet. Also provided nice welcome fruits and cherries. House - nice spacious house, marble floors keep house cold at day and warm at night. Living room is very comfortable space for indoor meals and around TV there are plenty of comfortable furniture and cushions for cinema experience.

I return to Sithonia as often as I can, so I knew this might turn out great since I made the reservation. And it did. The location is perfect. From the villa, you walk four minutes through a gorgeous forest with pine trees to Fava beach, which is one of the best in the entire Halkidiki region, if you’re looking for unspoiled natural beauty. The entire place is architecturally beautiful and it has what so many properties that aim to host tourists lack: an easily discernible identity. The villa is very clean and chic, it has a gorgeous garden, several nice terraces, an energy that will make you want to stay and a certain je ne sais quoi that will make you dream. It is spacious enough for a group of seven people or even more. The mattresses from the three bedrooms are comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped and parking for two cars is available on site. Many things you may need for beach-going and/or snorkeling are also available, free of charge. Aris, who lives nearby, is a perfect host and a genuinely gracious person. He is a cool dude. You can tell how much he and his partner Marina know about their extraordinary community, and that they care deeply about it. Their very affectionate dog Ela might come around for a pat once in a blue moon, but how anyone can get scared by her is truly beyond me. As hosts, they are a most natural and welcome complement to the villa, and their company has been nothing but pleasant. They truly are very nice, hospitable and discreet. I wish this genuine gem of a property had a “seulement pour les connoisseurs” status, but I know that’s unlikely to happen. So instead, I hope that the people who get to stay there find within themselves the resources to really appreciate the property, its very cool host(s) and all the incredible surrounding beauty. These are the reasons why one will probably wish to return again and again, as another reviewer has already pointed out. I know that I, for one, cannot wait to go back.

Among the attractions of Vourvourou, the professorial town on Cape Karidi deservedly takes the first place. Spacious villas covered by the crowns of giant trees, the absence of crowds of tourists - a place where you will have a unique opportunity to feel the real Greek vibe and peace. Spacious Villa is really very spacious, has many cozy terraces, hidden from outside eyes in the shade of ancient trees. A forest path without significant ups and downs leads to the best Fava beach in Sithonia. Fava Beach is one of the few that is free from commercial use, so it has a special atmosphere of absolute relaxation. The owner of the villa, Aris, is very friendly and hospitable. We are very grateful to him for the useful advice we sought from him. It seems that we have finally found the perfect vacation spot that you want to return to again and again.
