Aktea Seafront Houses

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was truly a home away from home. This was already our second time in this complex, but the first with these particular hosts, and it was a very pleasant experience. The complex is a closed-type settlement with a gate at the entrance - you need a remote to enter and exit by car, which means one less worry about parking and whether your car is locked. It is reached by a dirt road that is a bit less accessible, yet once inside you find yourself right on the beach in a peaceful setting. The house has two separate bedrooms,  one of them includes a loft/gallery with additional beds (so technically three sleeping areas, with the loft connected to one of the bedrooms). This is useful to know so the sleeping layout is clear in advance. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully arranged, with the kitchen fully equipped down to every small detail you might need. The ground - floor patio is a lovely spot for relaxing, and the entire inner complex is covered in lawn - ideal and safe for children to play. The beach is another strong point: while it cannot be compared to the best beaches on Sithonia, its easy access, consistently quiet atmosphere, and shallow waters make it perfect for a relaxed holiday with kids. Our hosts provided a huge sun umbrella with sun loungers and beach chairs - spacious enough for six people to sit comfortably underneath. These are always set up on the beach and waiting for you - all you have to do is arrive, and they are exclusively yours for the entire stay. We left most of our beach stuff there at the end of each day - a real plus. Susana and Antonis were truly wonderful - warm, welcoming and attentive. Even though we already knew the location, their kindness made the stay especially enjoyable. A big personal thank you to both of you for everything, we really appreciate it! We found no drawbacks and would gladly return. Highly recommended for families seeking a quiet beachfront stay.

TLDR : This is the best place I've ever stayed at for a summer vacation. --- We traveled as a group of 7 (5 adults, 2 children). There was plenty space for all of us, and we had everything we needed - each room has separate air conditioning and a balcony (there are insect screens on each balcony door), there are two bathrooms (both with a shower), a big patio in front of the house, really well equipped kitchen, fast internet, grill station... there really wasn't anything we were lacking. The whole area is relatively secluded, and feels quite private and secure. The beach is a minute's walk from the house. While not officially a private beach (anyone can visit it, in principle), due to its approach it's basically only visited by people from Aktea Houses and surrounding acommodations, so not only is the beach never crowded, but during some parts of the day it really felt like we have the beach to ourselves. The hosts provide a fantastic big umbrella and a couple of sunbeds on the beach, right next to the water. Since it seemed safe enough, we left most of our stuff at the beach at the end of each day, and it was a huge relief. The beach is sandy with beatiful clear water in the morning / mild waves in the afternoon, and amazing sunsets. There are a cafe, restaurant and general store about 5 minutes of walk down the beach, which have everything you need if you don't want to drive; but more equipped supermarkets, bakeries etc. are a 5 minute drive away. All in all, everything's very convenient. During the past couple of years we visited most of the nearby beaches - Lagomandra, Kalogria etc, but on this vacation we really didn't feel the need to go there, since we had everything we needed at our beach. Last but not least : Susana and Antonis are amazing hosts - really pleasant, helpful and welcoming people. They provided both an early check in and a late check out for us, and have been available the whole time for anything we needed.

Wow, wow, wow. Die Unterkunft ist fantastisch. Das Haus, die Umgebung, der Privatstrand. Alles fantastisch. Wir sofort vom Tor abgeholt als wir angekommen sind, uns wurde von Antonis alles genaustens gezeigt und erklärt. Dann hat er uns die Anlage gezeigt, und uns zu unserem Schirm am Strand geführt, beide waren jederzeit für uns erreichbar, Susana hat uns über Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und alles wichtige in der Nähe aufgeklärt und uns die Adressen zukommen lassen. Ich muss sagen so großartig haben wir schon lange nicht Urlaub gemacht. Kann ich nur jedem Empfehlen. Ganz Liebe Grüße
