Catstone Lodge

The place was beautiful and the owner included fabulous little touches everywhere, like fresh sunflowers on the table and homemade brown bread and jams in the kitchen. The fridge was also stocked with eggs and bacon and they included a few logs in the fireplace for us. They thought of everything!

We wouldn't change a thing, everything was perfect. We were even greeted at the front gate by the sweetest, most well-trained dog.

What an incredible stay. Niamh was so welcoming and accommodating. The studio is fantastic and all the extra kind gestures ( fresh baked bread, eggs, bacon, coffee etc) were just so lovely and very appreciated after a long day's work. I booked a 2 night stay as I was photographing a wedding at Mount druid and the hill of uisneach, the location was perfectly suited for both places I needed to be with just a short drive to each. Niamhs communication was brilliant and she was very accommodating to my late check in and late check out.

Nothing this place is wonderful

A beautifully decorated and kept , very spacious apartment. All one level , great for older travellers. Easy parking at door. Quiet and peaceful. Surrounded by lovely trees and countryside. Our hosts made us feel comfortable and welcome.

We liked everything.

We had a wonderful stay at Catstone Lodge. The cottage was beautiful, cosy and so peaceful, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. Niamh was a fantastic host and the little touches made it extra special, especially the beautiful homemade bread and fresh eggs left for us on arrival. Such a thoughtful touch and absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend staying here and would happily return again.
