Large apartment in an excellent location

We loved our stay here as a family with two teenage boys. The apartment is clean, spacious and well equipped. It's also right in the historic city centre so great for bars, restaurants and entertainment. We were able to visit a lot of the surrounding sights by bike, so didn't need to drive much at all. Chantal was a great host - very clear directions on how to get in and checked in to make sure everything was ok. Would thoroughly recommend.

Nothing, although (being city centre in summer season) visitors should be prepared for late nights and early mornings!

The location was exceptional, in the middle of historic Vannes. Having a garage was a unique option, while being a genuine necessity. The balcony was special and added a relaxing ambiance. The upper bedroom is perfect for teens to get space and be happy.

Unfortunately, during the summer, the noise levels are high. Not only from the late night cafes across the road but from the recycling bins behind the apartment, which was used all day by both residents and the cafes.

Vannes Old Town

Everything. First of all, this flat is in a perfect location, at the heart of Vannes Old Town. There is parking. The whole town is at your door. The view on one side is of a square with lots of life, including a market on Wednesday and Saturday. On the other side you can see the ramparts of Vannes and the delightful, ornate gardens. Despite all this activity, it is still quiet enough to be restful. The flat is very large and really feels light and spacious, with three bedrooms across two floors. Great views in every direction.. It is extremely well kitted out with good quality, modern equipment and a superb kitchen, two TVs and video games. Lots of books and games for the kids. The minute you walk out of the main entrance you have restaurants, shops, food markets, cinema and the old port. No need to drive.anywhere The owner / caretaker made contact well in advance to arrange keys etc, and on the day off arrival met us and showed us around the flat and all the facilities. Again at the end, a polite call to confirm the checkout time. Warm, friendly, professional owners. All of this is what you expect but don't always find. A really first class place to choose to stay.

Very spacious for 2 families and 3 kids. The location is amazing in the center. Free parking is very convenient. Comfortable beds. Just keep in mind is on the second floor with no elevator.

A really enjoyable stay in a comfortable pleasant property set in an ideal location.

The property is set in an ideal location for visiting places of interest, for shops and for restaurants. The two bedrooms on the first floor are comfortable, with plenty of storage space. Two bathrooms with walk in showers and toilets are on the same floor. There is a well equipped kitchen and a nice dining and sitting area, each with lots of cupboard space. A tiny balcony is a nice touch for looking out over the town. The property has been recently redecorated tastefully and is clean, light and airy.

It wasn’t clear from the description that there is no lift. The property is an upper apartment, only accessible by two long flights of stairs. Two elderly members of the family party struggled with these. The upper bedroom has no wardrobe or storage space at present.

Die Garage ist kompliziert zu bedienen. Man kann besser auf dem Parkplatz parkieren. Die Heizung im oberen Stock rauscht.
