This listing accommodated our needs nicely. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. One thing that was not disclosed (or we missed it on the listing) is the house is on well water. We were not prepared for the orange coloring in the toilets that were stained due to the mineral content in the water. The water was clear but had a copper like smell to it. This is something we were not used to so I was glad we had extra bottled water to use for drinking and making coffee. The house has great wi-fi but the area around the house has no service so if you are using your phone to navigate, make sure you load the location up before leaving the house because you won't be able to get a signal. Overall, housekeeping was not the best but the beds were clean and comfortable. Lots of towels available for use as well. The front porch was wonderful and we would love to have spent time out there but it was full of spider webs. The grass in the yard was grown up but they said it was going to be cut the day we left.

We enjoyed several weeks at this absolutely gorgeous lakeside retreat. Pictures just do not it justice. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and there are numerous seating areas to enjoy. The front porch is stunning and the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening wine. We loved watching the birds and bunnies visit the yard and the close proximity to both the lake and nearby river.
The home has been impeccably furnished and stocked with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Beds were comfortable, everything was sparkling clean and inviting. The house is far enough away from neighbors to be quiet but still close to all the area has to offer. The homeowners were delightful to visit with and responsive to all questions. I would recommend this property to any of my friends and hope to visit again one day.

Very nice house. Plenty of room. Great location for us. Issues that we had started with the beds were not stripped completely or cleaned and we had to find bed linens to make our beds. There was laundry left in the dyer and on the laundry room floor There was also only 3 towels in the house for us to use. There is only 2 pots to cook with, but good on other kitchen items. It would be nice to have cleaning wipes so we could clean up after ourselves .
