Thessaloniki Center Comfortable Apartment

Everything was absolutely perfect! The location is amazing and close to everything. The apartment itself is incredibly spacious, comfortable, and clean. Our host was wonderful and so welcoming. They even left us some lovely snacks, treats, and water, which was such a thoughtful and helpful touch that made us feel right at home. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this place!

I liked the location — very central. The apartment is a little bit older but very clean, and it had everything necessary. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the hosts were nice.

The apartment is as described – clean, spacious, and comfortable. Two bedrooms, living room, bathroom, and kitchen. Second floor. Elevator is small, I prefered to not used.

Recommendation: Pay close attention to the details of your booking! ANY difference between the information in the reservation and the actual number of guests/pets may be used by the owner as a reason to charge extra fees. In my case, I made the mistake of not including my 1-year-old baby on the reservation ( the places I’ve stayed had free accommodation for small children, so I didn’t realized to include him in the search filter). Upon arrival, the owner charged €10/day for the baby – (same rate for pets (dogs, cats, etc.) To some extent I can understand this – everything costs money. However, what really bothered me was the owner’s ATTITUDE – he acted as if I was trying to cheat him by not including the baby in the reservation. I tried to explain that, from my perspective, it made little difference – Booking charges are roughly the same – but his answer was simply: “You made a mistake – you pay.” I paid, since I realized there was no way to have a reasonable conversation. Later on, looking at other feedback discovered I was not the only one treated the same. Parking warning: There is no place to stop, not even to unload luggage. The street is narrow and busy. I had to go a few streets away to be able to stop. Later, I discovered a parking lot right behind the building – it would be helpful if the owner arranged a reserved space there.
