About this apartment rental
The Rosa Linda is 1 of 2 studio/efficiency apartment completely remodeled in late 2022. The other is called the Nestle Inn and can also be found on this site if you need a 2nd room for friends or family.
The owners do live in the main house, are very friendly but will give you your space.
Vehicle parking is right in front of your room. Come up the sidewalk, entrance to the Rosa Linda is left side door on the front porch with the turquoise patio set.
When you enter you step right into a big room with a reading area & a kitchenette area. To the left is a bedroom with a queen size bed, ceiling fan, big wall mounted TV, suit case stand, cloths hanging area, shelf & a mini split AC/Heater also to the left side is your private bathroom, it has NEW shower/tub combo, NEW tile walls, NEW toilet, NEW vessel sink/vanity.
Hungry? No need to worry about cooking with a restaurant across the street and several more a short stroll away in the Historic Square. Kitchenette area has a pour over coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave for those yummy leftovers & a mid size refrigerator for ice & cold drinks.
There is no stove but you can borrow a hot plate or slow cooker, just inquire. Outside has a charcoal grill & a griddle you are welcome to use but PLEASE clean after use. $50 fee if left overly dirty.
Two blocks from Historic Downtown Square, The Herefordshire's "Rosa Linda' is a great place to unwind. Relax on the new 'common area' deck (DOWNSTAIRS ONLY). Visit with other guest, the owners or enjoy a glass of wine. Go for a stroll in the square & enjoy shopping, dining, historic museum, night life, with a few steps more at the blinking light just walk across the bridge over Paluxy River to more shopping not he right & Heritage Park to your left. This park has a walking trail that runs along the river. The Rosa Linda is centrally located & less than 5 miles to many Glen Rose attractions. Stay longer and visit other great Texas cities. Waco an hour south, Fort Worth/Dallas an hour north, your vacation possibilities are endless from The Rosa Linda @ Herefordshire in Glen Rose.

The Rosa Linda is a convenient little apartment, perfect for 1-2 people. We stayed 3 nights. The property is clean and well situated to walk to the square and restaurants.

My sister in law and I enjoyed our stay at the Rosa Linda. Everything was clean and just the right size for us. We had great communication with the property owner and looking forward to returning soon.

We arrived late in the evening, and settled in. The room is actually a mother-in-law suite connected like a duplex to a beautiful cottage/home. The online pictures do not do it justice! It’s quaint, welcoming, cozy, very clean and well supplied. If I could add anything I would just add a regular coffee maker vs. the over-pour. There are many things to do, and this place is just behind the main square. You can all to everything downtown from here. It was perfect for us. We will return.
