About this apartment rental
The Nestle Inn is 1 of 2 'studio/efficiency apartments' that have been completely remodeled in late 2022 & ready to rent! The other apartment is the Rosa LInda & can be found on this site if you need a 2nd room for friends or family.
The owners do live on property & are very friendly but they do give you your space to enjoy.
This is a corner property so entire front & one side is open with parking on both sides. The Nestle Inn is located on back side of house with parking at back side, under carport. Follow the walk way to the last door which is the entrance to the Nestle Inn. You'll step up two steps onto the landing then into the door right into the kitchenette area.
Hungry? No need to worry about cooking with a restaurant across the street and several more just a short stroll away, in the Historic Downtown Square. Kitchenette area has a microwave for those yummy leftovers, mid size refrigerator for ice & cold drinks, a pour over coffee maker, electric kettle, ground coffee, decaf, tea, creamer & sweetener.
Go up two last steps to enter the large room with a queen size bed, ceiling fan, big wall mounted TV & mini split AC/Heater. At the opposite side of the room is two huge corner couches as big as twin beds. ALL IN ONE ROOM!
Bathroom has NEW shower, NEW toilet, New tile floor, NEW sink/vanity.
Enjoy a two block stroll to Historic Downtown Square.
The Nestle Inn is a great place to unwind. Enjoy the new large 'common area' deck (DOWNSTAIRS ONLY). Upper level is private. Enjoy the evening breeze, visit with other guests, owners or hang out & enjoy a glass of wine.
Go for a stroll in the square & enjoy shopping, dining, historic museum, night life, bird sanctuary, beauty services & with a few steps more walk, at the blinking light walk over the Paluxy River bridge, there are more shops to the right & to the left is Heritage Park with a nice walking trail along the river.
The Nestle Inn is centrally located & close to many Glen Rose attractions. Stay longer and visit other great Texas cities. Waco an hour south, Fort Worth/Dallas an hour north, your vacation possibilities are endless from The Nestle Inn in Glen Rose.

My sister and I found it very appropriate for us. It was very accurately described in VRBO. It was comfortable and very nicely supplied with all we needed. Host communicated well with me. Host provided brochures and maps to activities in the community on a bulletin board. This was much appreciated.

Walking distance to down town Glen Rose. Only 8 miles to Fossil Rim. Short drive to Dinosaur Valley State Park.
The cabin was small in size but very comfortable and cute. Exactly what we needed for the weekend.
