Holland House No2

The Holland house is perfectly located in the town of Liscannor. A short walk to Egans for music, McHughs for food and drink and Dolly's for coffee and scones. Staff in all places were exceptionally friendly and a delight to meet. A lovely church bedside us, a Gala petrol station only a short walk for food and basics and it was a great base for exploring Co. Clare. The Holland House No 2 is very spacious. Nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Double bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Small courtyard off bedroom. A triple room with 3 single beds and ensuite upstairs and another double room with double bed and single bed with ensuite. Everything we needed was there. Easy access by Lockbox for front door key and code and parking available behind house. Host was very prompt with solutions when the toaster blew a fuse. Very quiet and a good sound sleep. Showers excellent. Plenty of towels. Heated towel rails a bonus. Large kitchen table perfect for Jigsaws.

Very little we did not like. There was only one specific issue to me and my travelling companion so may not be applicable for others. The side tables in both double bedrooms were small and upstairs especially not very sturdy. No room for a CPAP machines which we needed overnight. Suggestion would be to replace large ornate lamps in both rooms with smaller ones and get stronger bedside tables upstairs. Tap in downstairs bathroom needs a review as hot water hard to turn off. Replace Toaster please.

Entrance to back garden not great, to go through bed room, and also on suit down stairs toilet not on suit toilet, really main down stairs toilet. Couches very uncomfortable too hard, bit disappointing because we relaxed a lot and would have been great if the were more comfortable

Logement situé dans un village très agréable à l'extrémité sud des falaises de Moher. A côté, Lla petite ville de Lahinch dispose d'une grande plage.

Manque d'équipements (couvercles, ustensiles) pour cuisiner. Dommage qu'une des chambres ne dispose pas de rideaux occultants car elle donne sur la rue et le soleil pénètre le matin.

The property is unbelievably cozy and spacious for this group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids). We walked in to fresh bread and jam - just perfect!
