About this house rental
English Basement/lower level of my home with a separate entrance and an electronic lock. 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, comes with a queen bed in #1, full size in #2 and a sofa sleeper in the living room. Cozy, quiet, safe and clean! Great neighborhood with bars, restaurants, shops, bike trail nearby. 10 min walk to Potomac Yard metro (one stop from DCA! yellow and blue lines) Minutes drive to DCA, Old Town Alexandria, DC, Shirlington, Del Ray etc, as well as DC with monuments and other attractions.
Bike rental on the same block (as well as many scooters and other bike rentals in vicinity). FREE bus station #33 a few steps away (takes you directly to King Street metro and Old Town Alexandria).
*Please be aware there are stairs (up to 10 steps or so) to go down to the basement.
Free parking on the driveway!
Strictly no parties or excessive noise. Only booked guests can stay at the property, no "visitors".
Quiet hours 11pm to 7am.
No smoking or vaping inside (you can smoke outside in the backyard)
Please respect the house rules and do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything at all.
If you notice a gap in my reviews, that's because a different management team took care of it the last 3 years!

easy 10 minute walk from metro, at times seemed to have air conditioning, but could never find control, host was great always responded to text and email, would recommend this property to anyone using the metro to get around, clean great location, if wanted anything there were shops within 10 minute walk

The basement apartment was clean and we felt very safe. We could have hopped on a bus then a train to get to DC, or drove the short distance but ultimately we got an uber. My family of 5 loved the place and I've already recommended it to my traveling friends. Sara is a super helpful and great host. Thank you!
