About this cottage rental
Located in the charming conservation area of Deal, Oak Street Cottage is an elegant townhouse located in the charming conservation area of Deal. Situated in a quiet side street just off the main promenade and beach, this comfortable holiday home is also just a few yards from both the buzzing high street with its delis, boutique shops and cafes and restaurants.
The cosy sitting room with wood burning stove leads into the dining room and kitchen, a downstairs cloakroom and utility room. Upstairs on the first and second floors are three bedrooms and a large family bathroom.
The enclosed garden is a lovely private, sunny space to relax in after a busy day sightseeing.

Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.
Parties and loud music are not permitted.

The property was totally satisfactory. We had a few issues with operating the heating system when we arrived in winter and it took a few days to get help with regulating it, but after that, system worked well.
The location is great for pedestrians, close to the beach and also to shops.
Nicely decorated cottage, and stairs are good. The TV was not a smart TV as far as we knew, so we had limited streaming.
Kitchen well equipped and a larger fry pan was provided when we asked for one.
A new hose also provided but we never figured out how to attach and use it.

The place was great to stay in, had everything you would need the bedroom was up some steepish stairs I have mobility issues (was warned beforehand) and found it a bit awkward the steps into the property were a bit difficult for me but if you have mobility issues, you'll find this property ideal for location for restaurants etc

Lovely cottage, well located, warm and super clean. The only reason I gave 4 stars for condition is that we had trouble with the oven not working properly, and the kettle kept tripping the fuse box (easy fix!) The service was excellent, we rang on Easter Monday morning for help to find the fuse box and the person was super helpful. The whole place was immaculate, and super comfortable. Would definitely go back.

Lovely house in an ideal location which is close to the sea and the Main Street amenities and shops . We used this as a base for our English Channel swim and it was ideal. Would highly recommend it .
