Antique Garden Villa

The location was excellent, the villa was very well equipped (coffee pods for the coffee maker, washing machine, dishwasher, ironing board, hair dryer, complimentary biscuits and juice), with a fabulous private garden with grape vines and lime trees not to mention the hot tub - we were truly sad to leave it. There was a great bakery across the road for breakfast and the villa was right next to the archeological museum. It was ten minutes' walk to the seafront cafes and amazing beauty of the Roman / medieval Old Town, with a good supermarket halfway along the route. What's not to like? (Tip - if returning to Split Airport, consider getting a one hour ferry from Split seafront along the coast to lovely Trogir, then a five minute bus ride to Split airport - cheaper than a taxi to the airport and much more fun!)

It wasn't a problem for us, but there are small steps here and there in and around the villa, and the bathroom is narrow, so might not suit people with poor mobility.

Such a great find! The host was fantastic and super helpful. Greeted us on arrival to show us round his property, which he clearly takes a lot of pride in. Just a 5 minute walk from the old town with easy parking out front. Well equipped kitchen, and we were even left a few essentials to get us started. Comfy beds, clean and tidy everywhere with nice little extra touches. Lovely outside area with hot tub, sun beds and BBQ. Perfect setup for our relaxing three nights in Split. Thank you Frane

De locatie! Maar ook de super vriendelijke host en het huis zelf was ook echt zoals op de foto’s

De keuken was erg krap, de vaatwasser maakte de vaat niet super schoon.

Na een heel prettig overleg met de host aangekomen bij dit paradijs. Op 10 minuten lopen van de stad een heel leuk huisje met tuin en jacuzzi, echt een geweldige plek. De tuin voelt heel prettig aan met bedjes en een eettafel...er is altijd wel zon of schaduw: net wat je wilt. En de Jacuzzi is echt top. Het huisje is heel leuk met mooie oude details. Je voelt je heel welkom: er was vers fruit, bier en water in de koelkast en een briefje dat je alles mocht gebruiken wat je nodig had. De bedden lagen prima, de douche was fijn. De wifi werkte top. Er was een wasmachine, dus ik heb heerlijk alles schoon mee naar huis genomen. Met ramen open slapen was een uitdaging, er loopt best wat volk vanuit de stad langs je raam, dus je werd soms wel wakker van geschreeuw....maar omdraaien en doorslapen. De locatie is verder perfect om lopend naar de stad te gaan. Parkeren voor het huis is 9 euro, maar overkant van de straat is gratis en daar hadden wij elke keer een plekje. Luchthaven is minder dan 30 minuten, Trogir iets meer dan een half uur en binnen een kwartier zit je op prachtige stranden.

NIKS! Het was fantastisch!
