O2 Villas Yala

We had a lovely few day at the O2 Villas Yala, The villa was comfortable and met all our needs. We ate in the restaurant on 2 evenings, and the food was great. Breakfasts were fabulous, including the take away breakfast that we had for our safari day. All the staff were incredibly helpful and warm. The manager, Lahiru, was exceptional at managing our stay , answering any queries we might have promptly and efficiently. I would also like to mention Sanjay who took us down to the beach for sunset. He was very informative. The location is excellent for Yala.

Maybe a parasol in the pool area would be useful. I also feel that the cost of the bonfire set up was excessive.

Staff were excellent. Small pool was great and villa space was excellent.

Seemed very expensive for what it actually is. Maybe better suited to larger families, struggling to understand why it’s priced at that level. Jacuzzi isn’t actually a Jacuzzi, it’s a jet bath normally installed inside a property

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place definitely deserves the 5 stars 👏🏽 everything from the rooms, the facilities, the cleanliness, the restaurants, the staff and especially the manager was top class. The current 9.6 rating on booking doesn’t do it justice, it deserves a solid 10…this is coming from someone that has travelled to over 40 countries in the world and stayed at probably over a 1000 hotels in my lifetime. I highly recommend this place :) Thank you again! 😄
