The kings room was beautiful and cozy. The space was great and clean. It was a bit freaky to get the key since it was a brick wall you had to go into but it ended up not going anywhere and just had a bunch of keys and also it’s closer to the train station than posted but honestly you can walk the city walls into the city centre which is only 10 mins away. It is a gated condo and used a fob to get into the gate and into the building which made us feel safe. Overall we really liked the condo, the location and the city! Great trip and wish we stayed longer.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for York. Very walkable. Photos are accurate. I would stay here again if I was back in the area.

Really well equipped apartment and very good communication regarding our stay. Only downfall was it very noisy outside especially early morning with traffic and bin lorries

We had a wonderful 7-night stay in this apartment. It was much bigger than expected, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the shower was excellent with a large cubicle, and the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery, dishes and cutlery. Our only disappointment was that there were just two mugs. We requested more, but unfortunately they never arrived. The apartment was very warm, even with the air conditioning on. We would have liked to open the bedroom window, but it appeared to be stuck. As the apartment faces the road, there was some early morning noise from deliveries to the pub opposite and from the bin lorries, so light sleepers may want to be aware of that. A couple of small improvements would make a big difference. The sofa cushions need replacing as they have very little filling left, and for stays longer than three days it would be helpful to provide extra towels, as one bath towel each for seven nights wasn't really enough for us. The location was great for us, around a 15–20 minute walk into the city centre. We also discovered the bus from outside the railway station, which took only 10 minutes and was a lovely way to see a bit more of York. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment. With just a few small improvements, it would be close to perfect. Thank you for hosting us.
