The whole apartment felt very grubby and unclean. The kettle had so much limescale there were chunks of it flaking off in our tea. There was tissue paper stuck in a hole in the window/door in the main bedroom. There were stains and food particles stuck to the fridge and cooker. It just felt really grubby. The bath had alot of mould and mildew.

The communication from the company was exceptional and very clear. The rooms are clean and provided for, the beds reasonably comfy etc.. but unfortunatly when we arrived the whole flat smelt very strongly of cigarette smoke. It is however easy to get to and worked for us for a business trip at the dock.

Lots of issues unfortunately and management team helped with some of them to start with to get us in at least! Followed another vehicle into the car park and it soon became clear that none of the key codes worked to exit the car park by foot, so one of our party had to enter the apartment from the road and gain access that way to the car park with a fob. Team helped get us in and were quick to answer queries until we got in the apartment and I made comments about the blind being missing in one bedroom (light came in room at 5.30am which was annoying!) and also the internal door handle in one bedroom was missing - cleaners had wedged a toiletries tube underneath the door to keep it open and old sellotape was taped over the door clasp, but when you shut the door, which I did before realising, it was impossible to get out again. I messaged management team and my messages were ignored - it was a fire risk. Scorches on carpet and dirty marks. If you ran your hand over one of the mattresses you could feel the springs - quite poor. Verdict - great location and apartment was a good size with a good view. It was a surprise to find two bathrooms. However the whole place needs an overhaul as it has not been touched for a few years. Could do with a lick of paint, new flooring and new blinds and furniture. The kitchen is looking rough around the edges with sections missing from fridge and not particularly clean. I rarely submit reviews but this apartment needs attention, sorry!

The instructions were not clear. They don’t communicate properly. When we arrived at the property there is no key, one of the room is not yet ready, property smells of cigarette, dirty, linens were not changed still smells from the last guests. We were relocated to a different apartment which is the same and it was freezing cold and very dark. I called the host but they don’t pick up the call. Poor communication especially if the guests have children and coming from a long way.

Ideally situated and immaculate, really enjoyed our stay, car park underneath was ideal. We plan to return again for sure
